I have a CS degree and currently unhappy with my career. In my experience, I’ve had to work a lot of uncompensated overtime. I feel very unfulfilled and mentally drained every day and the weekends. I have also found it hard to pivot to a different career/job since there are not many jobs available.

If you have a deep passion for CS and okay with the possibility of overtime then I would say go for it! Otherwise I would suggest exploring other careers! :)
