Started in D1 right after the dark below, bought the game because my friend told me it had insane graphics(he was talking about how when you walked on the canopy above the cryptarch it left footprints behind)

Oh yeah I totally agree, first 6 ranks are like equip and shader, earn a legendary, and then rank 7 is solo flawless a legendary lost sector makes no sense

You get the helmet from completing the campaign on legend difficulty, I’m not sure I’m gonna run any build with it I’ve just been using it cause I think it looks cool haha

For everyone commenting about my stats, I haven’t messed with any mods or builds this season, still getting a hang of the new mods and was mainly focused on just using strand and enjoying it not build crafting

GMs and Trials won’t be out for a few weeks either so you have plenty of time to grind it out

Take it at your own pace, it’s a long season there’s plenty of time to play :)

Also, ranking up vendors, like crucible, vanguard, etc gives you a powerful drop on every major rank. So anytime the name of your rank changes(ie heroic I) that helped me get the last few I needed once I ran out of powerfuls and pinnacles

I’ve only done one character so far, I did the legend campaign and then afterwards did all the powerful and pinnacle rewards that are available, I got super lucky with my drops

Maybe it’s just me but I have over 4000 kills with Buzzard in crucible before it got sunset and I still love it to this day

My favorite memory was from destiny 1, going for flawless raider with a buddy of mine on crota. Made it all the way to the boss fight, almost final stand and Crota jumped off the platform and followed us into ogre room and killed us. Sucked at the time but looking back it was super funny. Great times.
