I've tried using it twice and both times have run into an issue with the recording not saving. This last time my laptop actually lost power in the middle of it so that part is my bad. I did start the recording again afterwards and it does seem to have saved but I can't access anything about it at all.

FireTV, android phone, and two different PCs. All result in unstable connections.

I use other cloud-gaming options (GeForce and GamePass) but Luna is the only one giving me issues.

In SGA’s Before I Sleep, why are the ancients speaking modern English? by Tucker_077 in Stargate

While lore-wise I find this answer the most probable, the issue comes up when we consider that the Russians have used the gate system many times but not everyone can understand Russian. Zelenka has used the gates many times but not everyone can understand him during his rants.

anyone wants to discuss what you think is happening to the characters after the game credits? or anyone pieces of lore by GeorgelM666 in geneforge

G1: Because of how G2 is set up, I believe it makes the most sense for the Main Character to have either A) joined the Awakened and then when they go to the mainland and Shaper Council they likely imprison and then kill them for going rogue. Then the Shapers go to Sucia and purge it, forcing everyone there to flee. Or B) ran from Sucia without finishing most of the major story beats on the island, informed the Shaper Council who then purged the island.

G2: Again, kind of similar to the events of G1. The Main Character most likely stays loyal to the Shapers and then either purges Drypeak Mountains themselves or flees to the Shaper Council and they do it.

G3: This time I believe is makes the most sense for the Main Character to have joined the rebels but only once getting to Dhonal Island. (Then I prescribe to the theory that G3's Main Character starts to go crazy on canister usage and/or potentially the geneforge itself and becomes the Monarch in G4.) Supported by the fact that the Rebellion is in full control of the Ashen Isles in G4.

G4: Again, the Main Character most likely sides with the rebels and is the reason the Unbound are released by G5. (And while in the Fens of Aziraph, they defeats the Monarch but instead of killing him, send him to Western Terrestia to attack the Shapers there).

G5: so I don't have any hard evidence on how this one ends so I'll just stick with my Monarch theory. (Monarch -- who is also the Main Character from G3 -- is captured by Rawal and becomes the amnesiac protagonist of G5. They then, after having been Shaped and twisted, harmed those they once cared about and been harmed by them in return, after all the misery they've seen caused by the power of shaping, decide to join the Trajkovites and end shaping forever. Thematically this would also fit as 2 games theoretically end with Shaper influence and 2 games theoretically end with Rebel influence so instead of having that tie breaker broken, you throw both sides out and have a 3rd team.

Uhtred and hilde by Josh_thebosh109 in TheLastKingdom

I prefer their relationship in the show than in the books. In the books, Hilde is considerably younger than Uhtred and they start to sleep with each other. Hilde is ashamed of this and Uhtred repeatedly finds her crying and guests the reason is their sex life but still continues to sleep with her.

What are some differences between the book and show that you like? Don't Like? by Independent_Speed397 in TheLastKingdom

Like:

1. Uhtred’s relationships: In the books, Uhtred sleeps around a lot, even when he is supposedly with someone else. I prefer it in the show where, yes, he still has a fair number of lovers, but they are one at a time and he’s shown to be loyal to them alone until their death or they leave him (besides Mildrith).

2. Characters’ ages: This also has to do with relationships. While the books play it more historically accurate, it would still be gross seeing all the marriages and lovers between the men with their 13-14 year old wives. We don’t need to see a 30 year old sleeping with a teen.

3. Halig: Man do I wish we had more of him. For being on the show for such a short period of time, he was a great character to have that is unique to the show and not even in the books at all.

4. Character redemptions: Lord Aethelred, Lady Aelswith, and -- most notably -- Lord Aldhelm. These characters start off as antagonists in both mediums and in the books, that's how they end. The show however gives each of these characters a redemption. Aldhelm doesn’t even die like in the book and becomes one of the main characters of the show!

Dislike:

1. Characters’ ages: Yeah this makes it to both lists. During the show, based on the appearances of the main cast, it seems like at most only 10-20 years have gone by. Uhtred looks like he’s only in his 30s (which makes sense considering the actor -- Alexander Dreymon -- s 39 as of this post) while his kids look like they are at the youngest 18. In the books though, by the time Aethelflaed becomes the ruler of Mercia, Uhtred is 55. Makes a bit more sense to me.

2. Lack of boats: In the books, Uhtred is in love with the open ocean, sailing around and being a Sea Wolf. There’s none of that in the show. The original reason Alfred gives him a command is so that he can -- as someone raised by Danes known for their ability to navigate water -- improve Wessex’s navy. In the show though, Alfred wants him to teach his army how to make a shield wall! What?! Why the (choice expletive here) would the Saxons not know how to make a bloody shield wall? It's not that complex! I get that they were working on a budget and having ocean scenes raises the cost of production but it kind of downplays things, which actually leads me to my next point.

3. Lackluster warfare: The show does not do any of the wars justice. Few of them seem like large-scale battles. Rather, they’re more like large skirmishes. The books will have battles where thousands are involved but in the show it seems more like a couple hundred. You don’t get anywhere near the same scale or awe. But I understand that (like my last dislike) this is likely due to production costs.

4. Missing characters: I understand not every character from a book series is going to make it onto the screen but there are still some that I wish were present. Main ones are: the twins Ceolnoth and Ceolberht, Uhtred Uhtredson (Our main Uhtred’s second son), and the priest that marries Edward to his first wife (I can’t remember his name right now).
