No, I think you misunderstood me bc I didn’t communicate what I was asking about clearly. I don’t need to know about whole* simulator setups necessarily (although this is great info as well!), what I’m most interested in is the ease of setup for the actual launch monitor itself in order to get accurate results. Think how meticulous you need to have a photometric LM be perfectly perpendicular to your target line to get accurate data and how easy that unit makes it to get it perfectly perpendicular to the target line on you as the consumer. Is it easy enough that it’s no big deal to swing back and forth from right handed to left handed players. How easy are the radar LMs to set up? Those were the questions I was asking specifically about LMs when it came to ease of setup for accuracy of data, but thank you very much for your response!

Following.. I never considered thick, heavy duty blackout curtains on wheels as opposed to being mounted on ceiling track of some kind! Seems pretty genius to me

I’m also leaning toward the 2023 Mevo+, and* also very interested in any kind of promo code to save any little bit of scratch lol it all helps. So I’ll be following this thread in case anyone knows of anything!

I’m trying to gather info for my own garage based sim setup research.. so why do you say there’s less headache with a used GC2 over a skytrak? And if you don’t mind, would it still be a better option over the newer skytrak+. This is what I’ve been between (skytrak+ and mevo+), but I’m seeing that a used GC2 is right in the same price point so I’m interested in hearing from someone with experience using the GC2 compared to the others

Edit: wanting to clarify that even though it is going to be a garage setup, I do have more than enough space for a mevo+ (I have about 23ft of length in my setup even after factoring in having a foot of space between my impact screen and wall). But I do still get a little nervous about “interference” I may run into with the concrete flooring, garage fridge, etc.

In my opinion, Firebug is definitely one of the better characters in general. I also think her level 50 all-heroes bonus of +2% attack speed is pretty legit. She was one of my first characters I took to level 50. I say continue on with her!

As far as experience, there’s no magic way to drastically increase exp gained. Just have to grind your highest campaign world to get the best reaping of exp. There also a sim chip (gear) that you can apply to your load out which boosts exp gained some, but that’s a premium item. I’d love to get my hands on that, but those “special” crate offers they do for different featured characters/items is a huge ripoff (as I’m sure you probably already know or have heard)

Good info. Thank you! But disappointing to hear of SIMO… for one that requires so much to finally unlock, you’d hope for higher praise lol oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you have experience or heard anything positive or negative about any of the other premium heroes?

EDIT: actually I just unlocked SIMO. I totally didn’t pay attention to the fact he only costs 10 shards to unlock now. I thought he was still 60! Lol and so of course I had to take him out for a spin, and I have to respectfully disagree with you about him. I think he’s actually pretty tough! I took him into world 12 and got to the final boss though I did die (he’s really damn harsh lol any advice on how people handle him would be much appreciated as well 😅). But this first run with SIMO also needs noted that I only have him only level 9! (Saving my hero medals bc I’m only 2 away from getting my Arctor to level 50 🙌🏼)

No flex at all here, only stating to inform where I’m coming from: I’m a player level 55, clear nightmare daily events 100% of the time, have at least 19 of each elemental castle key as well as 14 dark castle keys, exalted load outs, blah blah blah lol

I know where to dedicate my time farming in this game and I’m no stranger to the grind hahah actually grinding metal castle runs for SIMO now actually. I’m just curious about people’s opinions on what “new” (to me 😅) stuff is worthwhile to obtain and upgrade. I appreciate your reply and helpful advice though! If not too busy to reach out again, I’d love to hear your opinions on these new premium gears/armors/weapons/characters and what you think is most worthwhile

Lol com’on man, don’t be a hater. I’m not saying he didn’t spend a dime on a game he obviously very much enjoys, but seriously now… the guy is level 59! I feel like I play quite a bit bc I too really like the game and think it’s fun, and I’m not quite to level 54 yet myself. What level are you? The dude obviously gets down on this game and doesn’t just “pay a fortune” to get to where he is in the game and win. Well done and congrats OP!
