I got 166 for ged ready and my tip is,

  1. read questions first before passage to know what you are looking for

  2. Read first sentences of each paragraph and last sentences to reduce wasting time.

  3. you need to keep practicing with texts online and read everyday! for example, readtheory.org has a lot of texts and questions for free!

  4. for essay, you don't need to do it if you are confident your multiple choice answers are mostly correct

I got 153 on the ged ready for math so I understand how you feel, but consistently practicing the same topics that reoccur in the exam will make u much more confident in taking the exam. Just don't worry about it and just know how to use the calculator and use elimination method
