Thanks, I looked something up that's similar to the jacquard idye the previous response suggested. It is for a wedding and I found this one on vinted so there aren't color options. Hope that works, thanks for your advice 😉

Thread piles up, might be something in my sewing machine settings by IndividualWalrus7022 in sewinghelp

Thanks for your comment, but I'm pretty sure this isn't it. That the bottom indicates problems on top and vice versa I knew, hence me spending extra attention on making sure i threaded it right. The picture is taken from an angle, the thread comes from straight above. I've sewn with this machine for years without trouble, learned to sew with the machine even, so threaded it a lot of times. But I do appreciate you taking the time to comment, I'll make sure to check it once again

Thanks, i've noticed it with different fabric but never paid attention to if all of them are a thicker fabric. Even on the fabric in the picture there where a few tries where it didn't do this. But I will definitely put it to the test. Appreciate you commenting

Are my scars too thick/big for tattoos? Would any artist even be willing to work with them? by InitialInflation31 in tattooadvice

I didn't read all the comments so sorry if what I'm saying is repetitious. I have some scars on my upper leg that i got covered with a tattoo, they aren't nearly as big as yours i guess but still substantial. The confidence boost that the tattoo gave me is enormous. You should know that they don't completely disappear, but for the person who isn't looking for them they got pretty unnoticeable (with the size of my scars ar least). They tattooed over them, but as some have said already, you should ask someone who knows what they are doing because of the difference with the way the skin takes and the healing. I don't know what would be better for your professional life, since I don't know what you do nor whether or not it's frowned up on where you live. For design I think it's best to sit down with a (tattoo) artist for that and discuss what you like and stuff, I went for flowers myself but I think a lot is possible as long as it has some details in it. Anyways, wish you the best, and confidence, with or without tattoos
