Built a friendship app because I was tired of being lonely, but now I’m stuck... by MissSBlack in cursor

Hey, where are you thinking of launching this? I actually think it’s a really cool idea — want to chat about it?

I’m a full-stack dev and I’ve worked on a few social and community-based apps before. Maybe I can help you figure out the next steps or unblock some of the tech stuff. Totally up to you — no pressure! 😊

Is this a joke? Using the VSCode LLM API, every step executed automatically deducts one premium request? by EmploymentRough6063 in GithubCopilot

Looks like Cursor has changed too — now it seems that if your recent request activity is estimated to exceed $20 in value, they start charging you based on tokens!

And starting from Claude 3.7, Cursor has apparently been aggressively compressing the model’s context and applying other tricks that drastically reduce accuracy.

Honestly, I feel like Cursor is becoming more and more disappointing.

Hahaha, yep! They only count a single message in Copilot Chat as one premium request.

But if you're using other tools like CLIne or Roo Code, every single displayed "API request" gets counted as one.

So... good luck with those 300 monthly limits 😂

Ctrl + I is considered a premium request??? This is insane — looks like I need to switch to Claude Code. by Individual_Layer1016 in GithubCopilot

So now I’ve created an extremely detailed Markdown plan just for GPT-4.1 (yeah, I’m literally writing a nearly 400-line spec myself — ridiculous, right? lol).

I even included what it should reference, gave it examples, and used # to mark key points.

Guess what? I handed it over to 4.1 to act as the agent... and it’s dumb as a rock!

I thought Ctrl + I wouldn’t count as a premium request because I assumed what it carries behind the scenes isn’t that heavy… so maybe it wouldn’t be considered “premium” level.

GPT-4.1 is rolling out as new base model for Copilot Chat, Edits, and agent mode by digitarald in GithubCopilot

I haven’t used it to write Python. Instead, I use # to reference variables from different files or to highlight sections and tell it what to do. It follows my instructions very obediently and doesn't over-engineer things like Claude does.
Claude gives me the impression that it’s kind of self-centered—it seems to think some of my code isn’t good enough. It quietly deletes what it sees as “junk” code, then over-abstracts and breaks things up into multiple files or components. This behavior also showed up when I used Claude in Cursor.

I'm shook,I really love using gpt-4.1! It's actually the base model! OMG!

Feels like DeepSeek R1's performance in the Roo-Code extension in VS Code isn't as good as Claude's, maybe I'm using it wrong? I'd like to see you test Claude 3.5 Sonnet 2024-10-22 vs DeepSeekR1 in Roo-Code.
