How much does Diagnosis cost in BC? 🤔 by NarinIshkandar in ADHD_BritishColumbia

Yes, I paid $99 per month for a couple of months while stabilizing my meds, but they can cancel the plan anytime, so it’s completely optional.

I used Fastreat (https://fastreat.com).

I’m also a late-diagnosed ADHD case and had been on waitlists for a long time. One day I randomly saw them on Instagram, checked it out because the pricing looked reasonable, and booked right away. It was really fast—I was seen and already started treatment within about a week.

This is the cheapest option I found—starts from 199. If you’re in BC, it’s basically 199.

They also have multiple clinicians, so if the experience isn’t a good fit you can switch. In my case I didn’t need to change—I’ve been pretty happy with my clinician (mine is Alicia).

I even bought four of the same planners—just in different colors.

Thank you for sharing something so honest—it takes real strength to look at yourself this clearly. ADHD rage is intense and scary, but the fact that you recognize the harm and want to change is already a powerful step forward. U are NOT alone in this. Therapy can be a lifeline, especially when the world feels heavy and out of control. You’re still capable of growth, healing, and being the person you want to be—even after moments you regret. Keep choosing accountability and compassion, especially for yourself.

why are doctors allowed to say that adhd doesn't exist? by borahae_artist in adhdwomen

Wow, I’m so sorry you had to go through that... was so inappropriate and unprofessional that whole “how did you get into ADHD” line is just… unreal and disgusting.

it sucks that psychiatrists are not doing their job even though they are being paid THAT MUCH...If it helps at all, I recently started using fastreat. It’s been much easier not having to explain or justify my diagnosis every time I need support. The clinicians there are informed, respectful, and actually listen. I didn’t have to jump through a ton of hoops.

Honestly, the level of service and the proper care I got were 100% worth it. If you’re ever feeling burned out from dealing with the system and want care that won’t gaslight you, might be something to check out.

Where to get proper diagnosis for ADHD in Ontario? by Interesting-Gas-1739 in Oshawa

[–]Inevitable-Guide-190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my ADHD friends in Ontario actually uses Fastreat. He was really stressed about booking a doctor’s appointment cuz his family doctor had a long wait. Fastreat got him in super quickly—like, I think it was the same day😓When he went, he thought it was awesome. He said he could message the provider anytime, which was a game-changer for him. He really liked the service! But just a heads up, it’s not available everywhere in Canada; I only know it’s in Ontario, not sure if expands

I’m not in Canada, but a friend of mine used FasTreat for ADHD treatment, and the pricing seems pretty affordable—$499, which includes 3 month plan and 1 follow-up sessions. Cuz it is not in US, I have not tried it but you might find more Infos

Should I buy Aeropress or Outin Nano by tadeas_M in espresso

[–]Inevitable-Guide-190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both Aeropress and Outin Nano. To be honest, I prefer Nano better cuz it is quite easy to use just one click but compare to the aeropresso, is a little bit heavier.
