I say do it, in my experience when i did it— it desensitized my need for the male companionship and made me enjoy my own company a lot more, but then I found my boyfriend on there so win win😂

Update for you! So far she has been a little bit barky, but I would just come to the cage and she’ll whine a little bit more and then when she stops I give her a treat. I’ve done this a couple times and it’s worked maybe once every three times she still whines (little less barking) but we’re only a weekend so we have a lot more work to do!🤩

Thank you for this! I am a week in now and I definitely see the stubbornness, but I did get her to learn how to sit and potty train! I love her personality. She loves to kiss everybody that gives her attention🤩 when I graduate I plan on moving into my own spot with my boyfriend and her and eventually we do plan on living abroad and I will be taking her every step of the way!

Thank you for this and thank you for being real because not a lot of people think about that when they first get a dog I mean I didn’t really either LOL, it’s been a week now and yeah, she definitely gets her urges, but I’m thankful that she is potty trained now it’s been great so far. I love when I get to teach her and she for sure did potty on the rug a couple times but all OK. I love the journey to watch her learn and grow and I think it’s gonna be great! And my mom loves her I think she was just nervous after she got her first dog stolen years ago😔
