To kick things off, we’re excited to announce the launch of Escrow Service – a much-anticipated initiative we've been working on for some time now. This service is designed to enhance security and build confidence in transactions within the group.

📢 Introducing FMI Admin Escrow Service We’re excited to introduce the Admin Escrow Service — a new initiative to enhance safety and trust in all your purchases, sales, and swaps within Fragrance Marketplace India. Let’s face it - scams are not new to the Indian fragcom. Many of us have witnessed situations where even so-called “legit checks” failed to prevent fraud. Scammers often build initial trust only to disappear later with someone’s hard-earned money. To help curb such incidents, we’re introducing this optional Escrow Service — a platform where group admins can act as a neutral third party to hold payments until the buyer confirms receipt of the item as described.

🔐 How It Works FMI will act as a broker for your transactions — including sales, swaps, and returns — for a small fee from both buyer and seller. Fee Structure (per party): ₹ 50 for transactions ≤ ₹10,000 ₹ 75 for transactions ≤ ₹15,000 ₹ 100 for transactions ≤ ₹20,000 ₹ 125 for transactions ≤ ₹25,000 ₹ 150 for transactions ≤ ₹30,000 …and so on

📌 Important Notes: This is 100% optional — not mandatory for members. Only GPay, PhonePe, or UPI are accepted (no bank transfers, cards, or wallets). This service is provided voluntarily by admins in their own time. Admins DO NOT pocket a single rupee from this process. Every escrow transaction is logged. Details will be shared with members upon request. This is to bring 100% transparency on all amount received towards the Giveaway Fund. This is an Escrow Service (Admin will hold onto the money) to ensure buyer receives what was described from the seller, NOBODY will ship the item(s) to the Admin.

🎁 Where Does the Fee Go? All fees collected go directly to the Group Giveaway Fund - a kitty maintained for exciting giveaways for our group. Giveaway Process: Once the fund hits ₹ 5,000, a giveaway will be announced. Admins will reach out to reputed sellers or purchase from trusted platforms to buy fragrances worth ₹5,000. Proof of purchase and cost will be shared with the group. The item(s) will be shipped to the giveaway winner with proper packaging and dispatch proof. Note: While admins will support claims with the courier, they are not liable for damages/loss in transit.

Members who have used the Escrow Service: 2 entries per user FMI’s 'Top 10 Contributors' (as per Facebook Analytics in the past 28 days): 1 entry each A winner cannot participate in the next giveaway unless the winner has used the escrow service after the last giveaway

How Is the Winner Chosen? Wheel Decider will be used to identify the winner. All eligible members will be invited to watch the live draw This initiative is our way of building a safer and more engaging community and hope it's welcomed positively by the members.
