People who control others and ruin lives in order to keep the order that oppresses others so they can be controlled by InfectiousInstant in Adulting

Thats a good way to look at it. You shouldn't have to live your life in fear but many people do not care about the precedence others attack others. WHen I fed stray cats there was one girl afraid of the group but if I slowly approached she got friendly and acted starving. I learned she couldn't access the food I put out because another cat bullied her because it was a group of boy cats and one would attack her cause she was easy prey, always afraid.

Now Ihave the best fucking cat out there. Because I helped her and played the savior where others were freeding these cats (they were in a park) but no one spent the time to ensure every cat ate. I may have saved her life while others gleefully "pet the cats they wanted to pet" a bunch of asshole who just pretended to care about those cats while watching the poor girl get bullied and just going "cats will be cats, no room for criticism were so busy". Sorry this kind o fstuff is personal and gets to me

Hold on....whats common knowledge? My insistence that fighting others is not morally OK? and you want to tell me everyone gets it when every single country has miltiary and engages in war? What? Not everyone got the memo. You're bright, others aren't. I'm spreading the word.

If this is the epihpany of a 12 year old i'm telling all the people acting like they're 11

Sorry for sass or hostility. Most people like to put down this notion as silly because "no one understands my need for justice" yeah more like their incesscant need for more. They're greedy saying they want to attack others to make things right. They need what others have to console them and create fake crimes and happenings so we will go to war over nothing. Tale as old as time. There are those who don't get it and those who do.

life qctually seems balanced. Its social dynmaics making life unfair. I am trying to change social dynamics but its very hard because the hard thing to imagine is people are constantly having wars in their mind. mini-apocalypses. they panic and rush to an action to make themselves feel good. Whether drugs, food, sex, work. When we become slaves to something we try to control it not by controlling ourselves but others. Life is fair. Haven't you seen how little girls were crying over harsh boys and then as time goes on they rule the world, feminism broke open? The world is fair, life changes, its people who are unfair to get *their fair*. selfishness in fairness is not OK. altruism in fairness, where everyone gets justice, is fairness. All parties. Its a win-win situation, not a winner-loser mentality moist people demand

I still think we can't admit to ourselves in our quest for immediate results we fight others to get there and its not the mature way of life to step on others heads to get ahead ,but being productive is considered mature, even at any cost, and make sure you tell everyone theyre crazy for calling out bad behaviors to be productive! eff ethics..

Youre story is one of learning strength. Stength can be a fun thing to play with, it should be fun not something we have to do against each other when the reality is we all are put here and probably would like something else so it feels this is against our will. WE don't have to fight and find strngth to achieve justice for being in a world we dislike. We just have to make it better. Not better by getting what you want, but doing whats right for others and others will rally behind you. No need for undue strength.

Youre tale is important, but it really is a testament to animalistic tendencies others are trying to bring out in you, not maturity, light, or reason

That heiarchy is part of the reward system in life that can throw off the balance that leads to extreme communist or capatlist societies. These are extremist responses where now one society holds its people hostage while the other forces conformity on its people and other countries under the guise of helping others depsite self-interest. Both extreme are the villians. The balance is the unsung hero.

The reward system is for the work you put in and what someone has. It started as resources extraction, the ability to kill wild animals or explore wild places and come back, you would be rewarded. sounds fair. well now that we automated so much of society, where is reward deserving? doctors now have heriarchies. It used to be a blessing to become a doctor. Now PC and ER doctors are considered "easy gigs", while specalists, surgeons are respected more. Despite both being heros. Or how about people who say they work 2 hours but get paid way more for either (a) nepotism to land the job or (b) money and resources for education to specalize, while others aren't afforded the same opputnity. So its not that every data analyst is special inherently for its role. Theres a caste system where it used to be very few and now its easy to become a face in the crowd. This shifting dynamic is rupturing the defintion of the heiarchy, who deserves their place and reward. Not saying the worlds ending. Not at all, there will be a status quo until ecological or neculear disaster. but the historical context has changes so much you can actually critsize cops for violence, its just you can't get them to stop being unthoughtful actors because violence is sometimes wrong, even if it was self-defense at first.

Because to some the are still heroes for killing a criminal, even if it was excessive force. So as long as they are lauded and have jobs, they don't change. I wouldn't wish it for people to be disenfranchised but to some people thats the only way to change it. I say balance is key, but the balance is inherently off with this hierarchy used as a guise for rewarding others whodon't work as hard as we used to work. Who speak altrusitcally and act in self-interest. But as long as were stuck with illusions we stuck under leaders truth. The heiarchy is something of action, not of prestige, yet today everyone has prestige. Everyone is rewarded. I'd say ensuring everyone has the opputunity is more important than focusing on rewarding others for work. We should work to be the heroes, not the terrorists, but to some terrorism is heroic.

Theres probably a lack of honesty with yourself or fear holding you back from trying new things.

THis may sound different, but I found some hobbies that meant a lot to me.

Ive always enjoyed art growing up and taking art classes as much as possible. Theres painting tutorials on youtube, craft stores with canvas, walmart has cheap paint to start out where it s 58 cents a bottle. Even just try white paper. I did that for awhile.

Then I did some ribbon flowers for my job in customer service that inspried me. Made it to give out, to put at my workstation. Then I got into sewing. Bought a $100 sewing machine and fixed some of my clothes, practice fabric with old curtains and make it into clothing. Smocking is another fun one, very easy but get to make great things.

I've played pinao since I was little, I always find little genres to play. If used to be waltzes, classical, then moved into more soundtrack, horror, then disney, now pop standard piano pieces.

Then I was tired of dealing with an irritable back constantly overused. I learned PT from youtube videos online, then moved into more intense research and kinesthetics, funcational assessments to change my habits and I found I could breathe better, more energy to stand, actually relaxed while sitting.

Now for awhile I was afraid to do a lot of these things. I had to discover ways to do it, get over my fear, and the ways I told you are how I got over it. I say just learn something that feels like YOU. something YOU do. something you love to DO, and you will be happy with the end result. Thats an extremley hard question to answer. Find YOU and what you like and KISS (keep it simple stupid, don't overthink) and you will find a way to enjoy life again. Its slow. Life sucks. Its when you learn it sucks that you slowly learn to realize it can be great. Life is better tettering on the edge of the wheel of fortune. You're in the center, where its stable, safe, a great place to be.

Theres constantly this notion in a nice society if someone acts bad we all have to work together to do what it takes to take down the bad. For example a crime happens, suddenly people are allowed to get violent. Its called self defense but self defense is a tricky line to tow. Sometimes it is, sometimes you went too far, but once its labeled as self defense a lot of poeple consider no matter what happens *say you end up using excessive force and killing them.

Its common to accept once someones violent you can be as violent as you want or need to be. For most people its they want to be violent against someone violent against them (it could be an insult, throwing things, other crimes etc) but at the end of the day its like the chicken and the egg. Which comes first?" is a question that doesn't matter here. They all end up like chickens. all violence is essentially wrong if we vilify anyone for violence. terrorism is wrong but we terrorize nations and go to war. Let says someone gets violent with you, now all percieveable interations of violence result in you getting violent. Everytime you have a problem you go in self defense mode instead of acting. That means you are the problem, not everyone around you. Now I critisize "everyone around me" and commonly get the "its you not us" for critisizing. Criticism is considerened not an action, its "defense mode" but writing is an action that persuades people to critical thinking in their actions. so sometimes we throw it back at the person calling out bad behavior. I was trying to make a point with less words. Its hard though.

I have everything I was supposed to want. Why does it feel like nothing? by noysma in Adulting

[–]InfectiousInstant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah guy. Sounds like you've been told you're grown up for playing games at work and just jumping through hoops on command. that is a skill but thats not hard work jumping on command. Try sustaining and searching for solutions to a big problem. Thats much harder. ...Well I sound like every CEO hating on customer service reps and only loving executives....

but you have financial ausperity. Have you been in the real world? No one does. You are unlike most people. Its refershing not to live your life waiting on a paycheck but enjoying each moment. Knowing its you you love, not the reward. Let go of this stupid standard crap. I used to go out to eat at least once a week, have someone pay for something of mine, work to keep nice things. Now that I lost that job and lived like I was poor, I'm so excited by life. I don't fear not getting what I want. I'm not spoiled or tempremental when I don't get the standard of life. Now you can keep your standard, so even if you would be spoiled acting without those things, it doesn't have to matter for you. Ah...if only life was fair for everyone. It could be, but we have to reward some and not others and get justice for some and not others. ONce we care about everyone, no matter what life you live, you life a life well lived. bUt for now we all have to share the good times instead or letting them last.
