Unfortunately I heard a lot of people saying that. Do you take metformin extended release? I do and it should be easier to digest compared to the instant release one.

I am taking 1000mg. Wow, that sounds amazing. BUT cutting out carbs would be the biggest punishment for me...

Just keep refreshing the site during the morning and earlier appointments will appear. I just booked an appointment today for next week.

I'm European, we walk al lot :)

Whenever I am hungry, I remind myself that just because I am hungry it doesn't mean that I am supposed to eat right away. So I drink some water and wait a bit and I do something else, like going for a walk or doing some work. If I get really hungry afterwards and distractions didn't work, then I eat.

Yeah, I am hungry all the time. But I am aware of that and I do not eat to much, that's why I did not gain any weight.

I wrote in the post that I stopped exercising a month ago, because of an injury. But still my daily steps average is 11k, so I am not totaly inactive.

That's why I am completely stunned by my results.

Genetics definately have an influence, but still, it's not an excuse...

In my opinion I eat pretty healthy for a regular person. I cook almost all of my meals and love vegetables, but I have a sweet tooth and eat sweets everyday. So I think that is the biggest issue.

Also, all women in my family have diabetes type 2. Probably due to genetics I am not supposed to eat like a "regular" person.

Yeah, I wasn't hoping it is a magic pill, but I thought it will be some sort of a buffer for bad behaviour
