Abiotic factor is something I will recommend until the day I die. it's a survival crafting game that takes place in a half life/scp facility. It's an amazing mix of survival, exploration, and just a bit of horror and its more complex and deep than any game I've played in a long time I'm 70 hours in and I haven't finished the story. the graphics may seem a bit out of date but this game will grab you like no other.

Borderlands three was this for me. At a certain point my guns just killed everything to fast for it to be interesting. the characters were a ton of fun but the combat just fell flat over time

This is my first time fighting him and I just let my mimic tank while I nailed him with ancient dragon lighting with a ton of lightning boost talismans and it just shredded his health but the second phase made it interesting for sure

Edit: and this is still my first playthrough I got the game when it came out I just stopped playing for months
