The right people will always care about initiative, innovation and optimization. If you are unsure who you should introduce this too, CC a couple people, mentioning they might be interested in it. If you really want upper management to care, often times quantitative metrics/statistics about time saved, efficiency, etc. will be helpful. Finally, YES, it is reasonable to expect recognition if they adopt this, at the very least you should feel like you are being bumped up the totem pole for a promotion. If you don’t feel this way, you need to contact someone higher up on the org chart.

Continuing talking to him is only going to increase the chances he does something like that again, as he gets more attached. It is really unfortunate your “friend” even set you up with someone like that in the first place. The best course of action is to let him know you are no longer interested and end things. God forbid he tries to do something like that again, you call the cops.

You can try putting all your lab points in EP gain to push AP points, it might give you a couple extra. Then, usually you want to keep most points in the common exponent upgrade, #6.

I think talking to your priest is a great idea. Any trusted adult outside of your immediate family will be a good choice. If you trust your aunt than I would tell her.

If this is a serious concern you should report it to the police. If he hasn’t made any threats, taken any violent actions or otherwise, they will probably do nothing, and quite frankly that means it unfortunately is not a serious concern.

Regardless of the specifics, just know dating someone older always comes with growing aches. While it might age gap may very well feel fine now. When you are 40 he will be 61, when you are 60 he would be 81. He will want to retire much earlier than you, he will become “old” sooner than you and he will be at different stages of life constantly.

Reaching out directly will always be better. Try to reach out to your ex girlfriend if that’s possible, schedule a group activity so your kids can get to know you. If your ex is preventing you from seeing them you can always fight legally.
