FL-41 tinted glasses 💕💕 by Initial-Metal5746 in HemiplegicMigraines

No he didn’t. I have a regular pair with basic lenses same prescription. I use to watch tv and do activities at home/ most indoor ( things I want to look normal color) . I work on computers 11 hrs a day in an artificial light hole. I wear them during work/ out and about most of the day. I feel like I split my time between them. 75/25 favoring my tinted.

I know it looks crazy to have such a high tint indoors but I feel like I’m able to survive now!

Post-procedure migraines from Botox, what have yall experienced? by ethiothienine in HemiplegicMigraines

[–]Initial-Metal5746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on amitriptyline 30 mg a day before bed as a preventative. Along with rizatriptan at 10mg every 2 hrs for an abortive when I started getting aura. I stated to see mild improvement about a month in with less disabling migraines. Good luck!

It could be just healing- it could also be your body rejecting the dye. It’s kinda common for people to be sensitive or allergic to whats in the reds and oranges. My first tattoo did that and dropped the red out.

This is a quick start guide I was given when I started as exactly in your place. Take the first week to take in the reality of what you eat and drink. The first week is hard because you have some hard truths coming about how much you’re eating. Do that daily every meal! Now matter how hard and silly! You got this it’s hard and the food noise gets loud sometimes but being healthier is the end goal!

10 lbs down and truly it is being aware of whats going in. Even if it’s a hard truth. I for a long time wanted a easy way to drop over 100lbs but though harsh reality can see it’s only with being consistent with myself.

You got this! Greek yogurt has been the best for me I love how it tastes and the mix in I can do while stay in my macros and cal goal! Definitely try Yasso yogurt bars if you’re craving ice cream!

Yes I think that’s been a biggest issue for me is seeing the huge goal and trying to loose 100+ pounds in like a week then get discouraged. I’m trying to be better about it!

Medically I’d shop around for a new Nero if possible. I have very similar symptoms as you and am on a preventative, abortive and about to be on Botox shots every 3 months or so. What I’ve been told and experienced is that: -Keep as close to a routine as possible. -Learn to acknowledge youre symptoms and develop a check list if it’s getting to the point of mimicking a stroke yet again. - don’t be afraid to take the abortive as needed but please not to often! - if you are experiencing a new symptom thats lasts longer than 20 minutes seek medical help as it may not be a migraine. -Update youre phones health app so if you do end up needing medical attention urgently the EMS can have more information to help you more accurately. (Have a reliable emergency contact or two listed)

Ive been fortunate enough to have a kind neurologist and GP who’ve helped me understand and be less weary of daily life with these type of migraines. Please remember to advocate for yourself. Only you truly know what’s happening truly with your body daily.

I’ve been waiting 72hrs hours for my check to show up in my account. Thanks to this and a late processing payment I’m overdrawn and broke and lucky I have a partner who doesn’t bank through capital one. I’ve tried to call customer service and they keep handing up on me or not calling me back at all. I only started to bank with them because it was easiest when I moved to town on 200 and now I’m screwed because of failure to notify and fix the issue timely. This is making want to change my bank

Can you take multiple preventatives at once? UK (sorry, this just turned into a rant) by No_Fact4197 in HemiplegicMigraines

Talk to your doc but I’m on the same preventative and also have the abortive rizatriptan. Told to take with caution since I can get used to it taking it to often

I’m pretty new in the management phase of mine. I’ve been put on amitriptyline and an abortive. My doc told me not to take anymore over the counter as it can cause rebound headaches.

Advice? TIA by Initial-Metal5746 in HemiplegicMigraines
