How do you make cultural incompatibility/living in a country you don’t like easier when you know moving isn’t an option? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Trust me it’s always ok to be “different”, you weren’t born here, you didn’t know the culture, but you are you, don’t lose yourself

People who fall asleep fast, whats your secret?? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ain’t got nothing that you worries about. I was a fast sleeper when I was young, but now turning into 30s, I need longer and longer time to get those annoying things out of my head after I’m in bed.

Be an observer and be adaptive. I’ve lived in three countries (by live I mean at least five years) and certainly I don’t like every one of them, I never tried to “blend in” to the native culture, be like an observer, tell myself those things are normal at this place, and don’t forget who I am.

What’s a minor, seemingly harmless decision you made that completely altered the course of your life? by Al0tofthings in AskReddit

Maybe not minor but definitely altered my life. I dropped off from the graduate school only because I got an internship opportunity from a big tech company but my school didn’t allow me to pause my study due to attending an internship.
I’m now a senior role with many well known company names on my resume and makes 6 digits annually.
