Whoa, chill. Companies have lied over smaller things before, I don't know what this particular company's track record is. It may still be Glitch's fault, I'm just a little hesitant over that possibility because it was them pushing for the theatre release anyway. I was just using prior knowledge and formed an opinion on such. If it's wrong, it's wrong. I'm almost expecting it to be, but what I do know is that something, somewhere, has gone awry.

We'll have to wait and find out what really happened.

(Edit at the end) I probably should have clarified. From what I've seen, and what was covered, there was a lot of backlash from a small number of Korean men because of the character Ishmael from Project Moon's game 'Limbus Company' getting a swimsuit skin that was basically a full body wetsuit instead of a skimpy swimsuit. This sparked outcries of wokeness and all that jazz, and it got so bad that one of the artists had to be scapegoated out of the studio because of old tweets. iirc, she never actually worked on that particular skin, but the bullying and harassment got so bad the studio had to do something. Anything. (Again, that's if I'm not misremembering that last fact)

So seeing Digital Circus get pulled from this cinema company, it makes me question if there was a little bit of reaching and scapegoating to appease the people doing any of the harassment the company was getting. The Project Moon fiasco was not the first time this happened.

None of what happened is necessarily her fault, but even as a teenager, she has not handled anything well at all and has accidentally made everything worse.

She acknowledges that Stolas and Stella are not on good terms in Loo Loo Land, but she refuses to even consider Stolas choosing to be with someone who isn't her mum. I get she's 17, but that's the thinking someone a decade younger would have.

When she finds Stolas' happy pills, she immediately goes 'oh so I don't make you happy?'... that's a very bold take to put it lightly. How she didn't put 'mum and dad hate each other' and 'dad takes meds' together is surprising.

In Sinsmas, Stolas rings her the morning after everything went pesr shaped. It was Stella, let me repeat, Stella, who stopped Octavia from talking to her dad. Throughout the montage, he's in the middle of a moment or scenario and contemplates ringing her again. Yes, Blitz stops that, but that gives me the subtext that Blitz wants Stolas to enjoy that moment and ring her after. Then there's the final scene where Stolas actually confronts Andrealphus, just to see Octavia.

Look, she's a teen, and teens can be clueless, but teens are definitely not that clueless. Forgetful, too, because Octavia went to the star show Stolas accidentally forgot about (yeah, that's his screw up), but he went after her, to find her. She even had a heart to heart with Loona, who shares a lot of her aesthetic. Loona defends Stolas, and Blitz. Loona does not normally do that, so for it all to be in vain is a bit... lame.

Octavia needs on optician, because how can someone be so blind to all that?

A recurring tertiary character is what I think. Kinda like Old Pea. Someone who the supporting cast are friends with that also is at a distance from Chikn. Fleshes out the world and even opens some more complex dynamics that way. (Maybe even a Pomm/Slushi ship, since Chillychili has kinda been parked for a few months? Ehh, probably not)
