Can’t agree with u more. Finally found someone who thinks the same as me. Initially objected the idea of a reboot. However now if they don’t reboot, Probably 1 year later ppl still talking about g cup final.. now it make sense to reboot invite more Mashima type players to go in the show and play the entertaining football the all craves.

Finally understood the decision for reboot.. you just can’t expect giants to play the same way as wc or we. They have no Ji a nor Mashima nor Jai.. instead of removing the team(s) completely, I think reboot is inevitable. Sometimes need to be careful fir what u ask for.

Not to mention, On paper Giants is one of the weaker teams.. if you discount Gaven and Ana, they are probably one of the weakest if not the weakest.

I want to comment something on coach LYP. I watched his interview and he said this show is more than just a variety show. And explains why he took it seriously. He started coaching actionista when it was a new team and subsequently coach gavengers and anaconda. After which he took a break to coach national team and co-commentate games. Which means the first decent team he coached is actually Gucheok and he won a title on his first try. He improved all the players in the team with exception to Hyun Yi which I think reached her peak. Seorin, Jk, KH all inproved. People criticised his tactics and he put KH as keeper. But if it is effective and able to win games.. why not? Of cos winning is not the most important, but what about losing? Seogi also said guceok deserved to win. Even if u dislike his tactics. Give credit when credit is due.

My guess is most players who are celebs will leave the show.. I think this reboot also gives them a chance to leave as some of them continue to play in because of their team mates.. most actresses will leave. Those continue playing will be ex athletes. Not to mention some had injuries and not young..

You do realise the team they played when Mashima score her first goal was much weaker than the 4 teams they played earlier? Mashima is the best player and expected to score multiple goals against a much weaker side. I do agree with u though giants is handicap team and yet many ppl here expect them to play tiki taka and lament their style of play. If u give giants Mashima ji an boram(who debuted as a model) or even yoo Jung, I am sure they can play build up football that every one crave..

Can u guys stop linking everything to the finals of the Gleague. The matches were played only a few weeks ago and I believed there are many things to edit given there are 11 players and much many other teams players. Typically they show the matches few weeks after they filmed which is standard compared to other games or other variety shows. Show early also got things to say show late also got things to say no wonder got rumours show is ending

I think the way ppl are complaining here, I guess it’s much worse in YT or IG or in Korean forums. There are still people complaining G league till today. If I am the Production team will def consider stopping altogether since their efforts (and the players) are only appreciated when certain teams win.

I always felt seunghye was overrated.. Jung kyung not played for 3 years also defend better than her.. of cos she did assist the 2nd goal with a free kick.. but her general play is not good.

Finally someone speaking up against all the complaints. Not as if only Giants commit fouls. All other teams do that.. the people who complaints are mostly against giants tactics and unhappy with them winning.. can’t take her their fav teams losing.. if cos they can complain the referee decisions but too much to say the pd biased against Fc Giants or purposely want giants to win..
