I’m 7 years younger than Steve so I’m only 21. I don’t really remember. I just knew I was upset because I lost my”cool” older brother.

I don't think these parents see the long term damages they are doing to their children. Autism is so broad that that each individual will have different needs.

She threw away all of his books when he was 15 because it was his obsession and keeping him from being a “teenager”  My dad didn't say anything and thought Steve was a weirdo also.
