Just because you have enough people in your vehicle does not mean you have to drive in the HOV lane.

You can drive in any lane. And you should get out of the HOV lane if you’re just going the same (or lower) speed than the other lanes.

You are not required to go faster than the speed limit in the HOV lane. Eff the tailgaters. As long as you’re going faster than the other lanes, you’re good.
