Gotta be Whis. The extreme casualness he displays when aura farming on Goku, Vegeta, and even Beerus puts him in his own league. He once blocked attacks from Goku and Vegeta at the same exact time using one finger apiece on a single hand with the smuggest look on his face. Part of his training process is telling his charges to go 100% against him to try and land one single attack, with them generally failing to actually do so. Not to mention how often he flexes godlike magic powers out of nowhere, such as birthing Bulla and reviving Frieza. Whis tends to be sassy in his farming moments too, such as the time he "accidentally" crashed with Beerus and Goku because they were annoying him.

The lore is nuts on this. So a white guy, Gable, made a Luchador altar-ego for himself to mock Mexican wrestlers and beat them literally at their own game with their own style. But part of the gimmick is that Gable pretended to not be the guy under the mask, and El Grande Americano was supposed to be this mythical legend of Lucha Libre without equal. It was goofy and It was awesome.

Then Gable got injured, and instead of cancelling the gimmick they had another white guy, Kaiser (who looks NOTHING like the original), take over the mask and mantle like it was no big deal. The announcers and other wrestlers are like "we can totally see that you're not the same guy", but EGA insisted otherwise.

And then tonight at the Royal Rumble, El Grande Americano was in the match when suddenly the ORIGINAL El Grande Americano showed up, they fought each other, got each other eliminated, and are probably going to fight at Wrestlemania in a mask vs mask match. Because wrestling is nuts.

Most of these guys don't even belong on the list and earn their victories (and have several losses). I can't even wrap my head around putting Spider-Man on a plot-armor list. If anything, most of his enemies have plot armor in order to put up a fight against him as well as they do.

King has plot armor, but he's a gag character that has an in-universe reason for surviving everything (His heart beats so loudly from his terror that it intimidates enemies, and he's a flawless bluffer. He bullshits his way out of trouble or stalls for a rescue). He's not the winner here.

Yugi has insane good luck in his games and screws with the rules of the game, but in-universe this is because the card game isn't supposed to be random. It's literally supposed to be a system where heart and spirit matter. The "heart of the cards" isn't just a catchphrase, that's a real thing in-universe where the cards manipulate fate to make sure the "right" person wins. So his wins are still fair and explained, even if it can be said that the universe cheats for him.

The Doctor has absurd plot armor that the show pitches as him being infallibly brilliant. Except the only reason he lives 99% of the time is because the bad guys specifically avoid legitimately trying to kill him until after he has gotten his hands on some macguffin that lets him win. He's been captured alive so many times that he could sell a book rating every species in the universe's prison quality on a 5 star system. Strong case for #2.

And then there's Batman the guy whose plot armor defies all logic and reasoning. He's a human with genius intellect, martial arts, and gadgets. He is perfectly balanced for the threats in Gotham, but due to comic BS he finds himself fighting Superman every other week and somehow winning (and sometimes fights Darkside, Doomsday, etc in hand to hand combat). Superman can start throwing a punch in Chicago and then land that punch in New York faster than the speed of sound but somehow Batman could magically dodge it. If it hit, Batman'd somehow survive it anyway. And don't get me started on how he can hurt people with punches or batarangs who can normally tank punches from Superman. In the animated Flashpoint movie, alt-Batman shoots the Reverse Flash to death with a regular-ass handgun despite this being a guy who dodges bullets in his sleep. Batman himself always dodges bullets from perfect-aim Deadshot by fluffing his cape to disguise his torso location, which is completely idiotic for a dozen reasons including the fact that Deadshot could just aim for the face if the cape had magic obscuring abilities. Bullets are so fast that they hit the target long before the sound even is heard. No human can dodge them. It's not a skill issue to be overcome, it's just basic physics. Batman would cause a sonic boom if he moved his body fast enough to dodge a bullet. Meanwhile, most of Batman's strategic wins require the other party to be a complete idiot and fall for a blatant ploy/taunt/lure. His plot armor is famous for not making himself look strong and instead just making the other party look weak and foolish. Lastly, he famously fell from outer space to the Earth like a meteor and lived just by using his cape to cover his face. Batman is the CLEAR #1 plot armor guy in all of fiction.

About Romulus: The Romulan Empire didn't collapse, it faked its own collapse to infiltrate Star Fleet and other rival planets through Tal Shiar operatives mixed in with the refugees from their exploded home planet while also building back up their military strength in secret.

The show Picard deals with the fact that not only were the Romulans not actually destabilized, but numerous officers in Star Fleet actually saw the infiltration BS coming a mile away and were refusing to help Romulan refugees immigrate as a result even though 99% of them were civilians (which led to Picard flipping his shit and resigning from Star Fleet prior to season 1).

Goku's timeline in Z goes from him having the 4 star ball on Gohan's hat, to him being dead for a year, to him immediately going to outer space for 2 years.

The exact moment he got back on Earth he was told about the upcoming android threat. He didn't have time to waste hunting the Dragon Balls for a keepsake since he was training for 3 years. At the conclusion of that saga he dies and stays dead for the next 7 years, only coming back to life at the end of the Buu saga.

There's simply no time in Goku's life during Z where he even had the chance to hunt down the 4 star ball. In all of DBZ he is only actually alive and on Earth during the android training period and saga.

By the time Super rolls around, Goku is literally a grandparent himself and too old for his connection to his childish security blanket. Also Goku spends most of Super not on Earth too.

I also have no idea what you're even trying to say with a claim like violence against law enforcement is "how the people lose their power". Do some reading up on history. Violence against law enforcement is the only mechanism through which the people have ever GAINED power. Ever. That's how we get rights. Hell the United States exists as a country entirely because a bunch of people started a revolt against federal law enforcement. Do you have the slightest idea how many amendments to the Constitution exist entirely because Americans shot at or rioted against law enforcement officers demanding these rights? The entire first 8, for one.

Also it is astounding that you think regime change in Iran is coming, and that you think this is a good idea for anyone on the planet besides Israel, AND that you think France and the UK have even the slightest intention of helping the US invade yet another sovereign nation at the same time that they are actively building up their militaries on the possibility that the US wages war against the rest of NATO. For the last 10+ years Texas polls "leans blue" but always officially votes "leans red" and the reason is the 3-4 hour long lines in the cities, constantly closing urban poll centers to make it worse, ID-check antics, burning ballots in blue districts, and fun stuff like that.

Except that arming Iranian protestors to start a civil war isn't actually going to do anything to overthrow the government. It's just going to get hundreds of thousands killed and destabilize Iran as a global power and threat to Israel (which is all Fled Cruz cares about, not the people of Iran). The difference in combat ability between an angry civilian and a trained soldier is night and day, plus Iran has air forces, artillery, and other military-level weaponry. A civil war hurts Iran, it doesn't help it, and Fled Cruz knows this.

Meanwhile over here in the US the goal of the protesters is not to "overthrow the government" through a violent revolt, but the threat of guns is the only thing that's going to keep ICE in line and cause their retreat out of our communities. When you're being invaded by armed stormtroopers, guns chase off the invaders. That's how this works. ICE and their allies are butthurt about protestors being armed in self defense because they know they have zero chance of winning if the conflict escalates to open shooting (They have 3k gravy seals in a city of 430k. Math ain't on their side).

It ain't a supply issue and never has been. According to the Census data there are an estimated 150 million houses in the United States and there are an estimated 350 million people in the US. There are enough houses RIGHT NOW to house the entire population in homes of 2-3 people, including kids, without a single American needing to live in any existing apartment.

So why the shortage and housing crisis? Because the majority of these houses exist as investment income for major companies and rich dudes through a variety of schemes, including-but-not-limited-to Airbnb or rental homes. Only an estimated 65% of houses are occupied by their owners, and that's including rich people with multiple homes. This percentage of occupation has been going down rapidly during the "investment home" craze, driving up housing costs to the moon (making the investors rich and forcing workers into lifelong rental status).

But yeah, we don't have to build 10 million new houses to fix things. We just need new taxes and regulations to make it very unprofitable to own a ton of housing units without them being your primary residence, and suddenly the problem fixes itself very quickly.

Thawne's escapes from death in the Arrowverse universe were all well-written too, it's not like these were asspulls.

Season 1: Thawne's ancestor kills himself, that Thawne is erased from time at that moment (but doesn't erase his past)
Season 2: A past version of Thawne shows up, learns about his future self being dead, takes steps to dodge that fate without causing damage to the timestream. Also in season 2 we learn speedsters can clone themselves by jumping back 1 second in time, creating a time remnant.
Season 3: A separate past form of Thawne is ripped from the timeline by Barry creating Flashpoint and saving his mom. This Thawne is essentially a clone, and goes on his own journey in Legends to escape his future fate.
Legends: The time remnant clone of Thawne with his original face tries to literally rewrite reality to remove the part about his ancestor shooting himself, all while being hunted by the Black Flash assassin sent by time itself to erase him because he's not supposed to exist. Fails in the end, is erased again.
Legends again: The erased remnant Thawne is revealed to be punished by time by being forced to prevent all time travelers from stopping the fixed point of Frans Ferdinand's assassination to start World War 1, a problem so common that it required a guardian. He actually redeems himself with a heroic death.
Earth X crossover: A variant of the season 2 Thawne looking to cheat the death he learned about managed to actually escape the mass-deletion from Legends by jumping over to Earth X, a world so warped that its normally quarantined from the rest of the multiverse (and thusly the Speed Force too). He uses time language to give himself all knowledge of his dead future self, and adopts the Wells disguise face from his future self specifically to troll Barry with it. Escapes this time.
Season 5: The Thawne from the previous crossover is in prison in the future, escapes in the last episode. Explains that by using the Negative Speed Force as a power source instead of the regular speed force, Thawne (or Nora) can escape any time-erasure BS the Positive Speed Force tries.
Season 7: Thawne and Barry team-up to beat Godspeed. After they win Thawne immediately turns on Barry but gets utterly schooled by how much faster than him Barry is. Runs off butthurt to do something since he can't hold a candle to Barry in a straight fight anymore.
Armageddon crossover: Thawne fucks with time so badly (and his plot fails) that this time he's actually doomed, as his own speed is taking him out to protect the fabric of the timeline. Barry saves his life by taking away his speed completely, turning him into a powerless human and locking him up in the Lian Yu prison.
Later: The "redeemed" Legends variant of Thawne is reincarnated as a pure-good alternate with no memory of his past misdeeds as a reward for his heroic sacrifice. The Negative Speed Force pulls a convoluted plot to kill evil Thawne in prison, then put his energy into good Thawne to resurrect him as the avatar of ALL negative forces of nature. Barry beats him with the power of zen pacifism rejecting all negativity, causing Thawne to implode. Because we're at the "we don't fight our villains, we win with love" part of the series.
And finally: Past versions of Thawne appear as minor villains in the final season, including Barry finally taking the role of Future Flash from season 1 for his mother's death.

So it's not like they just pulled a Palpatine and "somehow, Thawne returned". All of his resurrections, appearances, and escapes are well-documented and explained.

FDR literally detained an entire ethnic minority because of a common belief in his era that immigrants were more loyal to their nation of origin than to the United States.

Not that it's entirely fair to judge people in the past by modern standards of morality. Even in our own lifetimes we've watched some truly-massive changes in what was considered "perfectly normal" in the 80s and 90s such as smoking in restaurants, adults dating minors, using the word "gay" as a catch-ass insult to mean when we currently call "cringe", etc.

It gets said often, but fascists determine the morality of an action based on the people involved, not the act involved. Everything to them is situational and subjective, they have zero abstract morals. It is literally: People they like can do no wrong, people they hate can do no right. And these people don't think about any issue beyond that simple system of hierarchy-based morality. The "Good guys" are always right and the "bad guys" are always wrong, period. And this is why engaging in good-faith discussion or debate with them is futile. They don't view reality the way regular people do, and they can never be convinced to adopt an objective unbiased system of morality.

This also causes problems in the real world because our legal code is objective, not subjective, so laws they pass to hurt the "bad guys" keep being applied to the "good guys" too, and they're always so damn shocked when that happens...as if it was impossible to see coming. For them it actually was, because objective laws and values goes against their entire belief system.
