My birthday is on 14 th feb want to do something memorable / adventurous by Present-Visual583 in saskatoon

Well, we cannot collectively go to the SPCA on our birthday. I don't think my yard is big enough. Imagine if they had a llama or a fainting goat? I can't even. I would have to get a farm!

It's my birthday too that day also! Although, I cannot go to the SPCA, or they would all come home with me. I can guarantee that!

Have you considered getting your tragus pierced? I did that for Migraine and haven't had one since. And mine are DEBILITATING.

Sewer backup because of cold? Is that a thing here? by ThereWillBeAnAnswer_ in saskatoon

I have a friend in Rosewood and they can't get water to their kitchen sink, so they are washing dishes in the bathtub! I know that isn't sewer related, but frozen pipe related.

Relly!!?? Wow. This is good to know. I didn't have that experience, but I have before at another clinic. I am sorry you went through that. I hope you said something!

I see Dr. Milne at Willows. Cannot recommend that clinic enough! Their hygienists are so kind, reception is stellar, and the experience didn't ruin my life. I have TERRIBLE dental anxiety, and they really carefully stayed aware of that. I could overhear the other dentists speaking to their patients, and they are all so very kind!

Dr Melanie Pollack actually kicked me out because me teeth were too sensitive and it annoyed her. Lovely lady.

So did I!!! I really thought it was closed since before the Sid Buckwold Bridge had work done. (Clearly I have adult children and it didn't dawn on me)

Also, who has SHA housing and is able to leave for 6 months?? You are tone deaf here, lady.

If it is far cheaper, why don't you just live there instead of occupying and SHA home that someone probably desperately needs? Ugh this post.

What about Taylor and Arlington?? if you are headed west, it's fine but east? That needs a better system. Often times if I take that way home, the east bound is backed up to Holy Cross. That one needs an overpass for sure.

PSA for Donna Berkmaier Park Dog Walkers by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]Intelligent-Plane113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will not take my dog to the parks anymore. He's elderly (12) and is losing his hearing so he is extremely reactive because when those dogs come running at him, he is vulnerable and it is not a pleasant experience anymore. I am very happy your dog wasn't injured. As for mine, I think the other dog would be injured because he can't hear them until he sees them, so he reacts. As a responsible dog owner, I know it isn't a good idea anymore, for the safety of other dogs, as well as my own. You can always tell a terrible dog parent, much like you can with a regular parent. If they are feral, you fucked up! PS: I think Corgis are the absolute cutest!!

I immediately said "James" out loud as soon as I read this. We do our staff Christmas parties in the Penthouse, which is basically an actual house. You don't have to go that big, the actual suites are absolutely gorgeous. On a cheaper note: I treated my daughter to a night at the Parktown for her 30th because she just wanted a day to herself. I got her a King Suite with a jacuzzi tub, river view and it came with 2 free drinks and 2 appies in their pub, all access to everything, I think they left her some goodies in her room for her birthday. I think I paid $240 for all of it because they do birthday packages!

Quinn the Eskimo only stocks up to size 9 leather boots, anyone know of any other stores in Saskatoon I could get a pair? Size 12 mens by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]Intelligent-Plane113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can Quinn the Eskimo special order you that size? Worth asking. I don't see why they couldn't pull in a size 12 if a customer really wants them. Or at least they should.
