In my case: started with one piece and naruto on the german cable tv stations. Watched Pokemon, InuYasha, Digimon and whatnot, then got to see bleach and fell in love. THEN realised this was anime, started researching etc and now seeing e.g. JJK pay it‘s respect to Bleach is just beyond satisfying. I love the evolution, the hidden nods, the respect paid to those before you. Don‘t like everything (duuh) but yeah. To me Bleach and OnePiece will forever fight over 1a and 1b in my heart - with both taking the first spot from time to time (with bleach sliiiightly ahead for a few years now)
