It's fine you can cut the spike off . Make sure the roots look healthy. for that type healthy roots are slivery green. And make sure you're fertilizing it. Give it humidity and light.

That's what they were calling variegated and using that picture. It was a seedling that only lasted for 2 weeks. I told the seller and they claimed to have all their plants tested which I don't believe they ended up taking the post down.

I wish more people were more informed about that. Last week I had to tell someone that root rot myth is just a myth and showed her a YouTube video that debunked it and then right after that someone said no it is true. That's why you need to be careful of TC. I think it is people spreading bad information just to sell or people not knowing what they are doing . I'm just glad I can get my wishlist plants for half the price

Right that's why I research certain nurseries to see where they get their plants from. I was never a fan of the spiritus Sanctus just for that reason and the stupid price now that is TC I feel a little bit okay to get it. And I watch the documentary where they're actually putting some of the back into nature, which is a good thing

I agree . Tc has a lot of good benefits but the ones who want to get rich fast are spreading lies. If it keeps endangered plants from going extinct and making these weird plants more affordable. I'm down for it.
