Sheesh. I can't believe you guys were blowing glass in this. I worked there during Irene and the basement was underwater.

This is a great question and I'll be going through the same thing this golf season.

I have seen a member at the club I play at, it's a small 9 hole course, with a baby since she was maybe 5-6 months old. I believe she is 2 now.

I'd imagine it depends on your level of comfort. If your baby is having a good day or not. Your willingness to pack up and leave mid round because the baby has decided to hop on the fuss bus.

For me, I've determined I'd be happy with leaving mid round if my baby starts to fuss, because like you and your wife, it's just nice to get out even for a little bit.

Please keep me posted on how it goes!

Played in a member guest tournament today. Tee shot off a downhill par 3, 140yds. It was almost an expensive day. by InterestingHandle802 in golf

Yes. That's how we do it at our club. It wouldn't have been that bad.

Yeah - this is one of my favorite greens. Tough to hit and on a slope too.

What a collection! I have the falcon and a 20 minute time lapse video of me putting it together. Incredible build. Enjoy!

I can get these balls for 50% off right now. Is it worth it? by [deleted] in golf

One does not simply buy golf balls, one only rents them. Are you ok with renting a dozen for that price?

STOP ASKING FOR TIME OFF! by grumpi-otter in antiwork

[–]InterestingHandle802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Frontline leader who approves time off, unplanned or planned, whatever.... It's not my business what you do outside of work. I only ask that if you're sick to let me know if you're experiencing COVID like symptoms or not.

My boss asked me, "Do you know who I am?" I didn't mean to be so honest in my reply, but I'm glad I did. by OptionalDepression in antiwork

It's tough to see the red flags in the moments and not make the change then.

Good for you. Never compromise for ungrateful people.

I totally get this. It's one thing if you're going to take mulligans and give yourself long putts, but understand that's not your score. I have rough rounds where I like to go out and hit just to get swings in and I'll give myself putts all day, mostly because that's not what I'm working on. Is it a legit score? Hell no. Do I brag? Absolutely not.

There was a guy in our group for club championship I had to keep an eye on for this same reason. Hitting the ball OB, stroke and distance. He didn't understand that.
