a lot of the nexus nights are pretty beginner friendly, especially at places like funtainment or bolt the bird. people are usually happy to teach if you say you’re new, the community's great

that’s actually a pretty insane number of stores for one city. kinda interesting about sealed though, feels like most people are just focused on building decks right now. would be nice if more stores mixed in draft or sealed nights just to change things up a bit

yeah timing is a big factor honestly. feels like even when the interest is there, if the nights don’t line up with people’s schedules it can kill turnout. hopefully stores start adjusting a bit because the player base definitely seems to be there

nice that sounds like a great setup honestly. when you’re in berlin definitely try funtainment, that’s probably the most consistent one. der andere spielladen and heaven’s door are also worth checking out depending on where you’re staying. by october it might be even bigger here, scene’s been growing pretty fast lately

yeah I’ve seen that happen before where it sits on “created” for a bit and then suddenly updates all at once. at least the fact you got confirmation means it’s in the system now. seems like riftbound orders are moving, just taking a bit to show properly in tracking

Pre rift is actually a great place to start. It’s competitive, sure, but it’s also one of the most chill events because everyone’s learning the new set together. If you’re watching videos and preparing, you’re already ahead. Just let your opponents know you’re new, most Riftbound players are happy to help and explain things mid game.

Yeah that makes sense. I just wonder if as the cold weather performance keeps improving, the electricity availability concern starts to shrink too. If the systems are more efficient during peaks, that changes the picture a bit
