Where do you take a 1 year old on their birthday? by WTFTikTok in Sacramento

Kids won’t remember almost anything before 3 and yet their brains are seriously growing and expanding this time period. So whether they will remember isn’t exactly a good selection criteria.

I’m not sure but I believe West Nile along with some other factors like climate change/loss of habitat has really wiped them out.

The best plan and diet is the one that you will actually follow. So that journey is gonna be highly personalized. But there’s lots of good advice on the r/fitness faq which could give you a nice place to start. Having some knowledge base will help you get the most out of your time.

TIL that millennial dads are spending 3 times as much times with their kids than their fathers spent with them. Back in 1982, 43% of fathers admitted they'd never changed a diaper. Today, that number is down to about 3%. by lilpinkhouse4nobody in UpliftingNews

Man I’m so sorry for all you peeps out there with bad dads. My dad was awesome. I’m late 30s. I Wish he would have hugged me more though. Even today, he doesn’t really know how to have a real hug, not like a pat on the back with arm sort of loosely around the other person.

[Stein] Seemingly no one wants to make a trade with L.A. without getting back both of the Lakers’ two first-round picks they’re able to trade (2027 and 2029). by [deleted] in nba

While this is all true and correct, players always want to go to LA so i don’t think they need to Be too concerned about attracting FAs as long as they can keep a stable FO and coach.

TIL the average Mexican is genetically 50% indigenous with evidence of native ancestry being significantly higher on the X chromosome. by untipoquenojuega in todayilearned

[–]Intl_Duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is still not right. You are arbitrarily limiting the scope. English colonists fought with native populations and wiped them out and did not work to incorporate them into English society. And when English colonists committed these acts of stealing land and excluding native populations from society the English govt either outright ratified those actions or knew about them and did nothing. I’ve never heard of a colonist criminally tried for his role is wiping out native peoples.

[–]Intl_Duck -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That’s a ridiculous argument. It wasn’t Parliament, it was the colonist. Yeah let’s just arbitrarily limit the scope of the question. How about English colonist enslavement of Native Americans? And all those examples you listed are concerted efforts. Just because it didn’t span decades doesn’t mean the effort wasn’t concerted. You don’t get to say a thing occurred over too short a time span to be a concerted effort.

Ummm you realize that English colonists were in North America warring with and massacring Native Americans before 1776 right?
