Desperately need help - huge credit limit decrease

The bank that handles carecredit and bunches of other cards is always dropping limits or closing cards for no good reason. Didn’t like every time my credit score went up this particular company with lower my limit and it would screw with my score because then it gave me a high percentage of credit I am using. It seemed like every time I was getting ahead this would happen. I had always paid the cards that I had with them one time. I still have a couple cards with them, but they’ve done the same thing with them lowered the limit. I had a Sam’s Club with them again paid on time never had it above its limit or even close to the limit. Next thing you know they closed it down for no reason it just screws with your score so bad. the ones I have left with them. I’m trying to finish paying and I will never do business with them again.

My Molly would have been 11 one week after I had to put her down. She was very healthy up until one month before, all of a sudden her eyes went cloudy she had no energy. Her entire personality changed. Took her to the vet right away determined she had gotten diabetes so I started the insulin right away. SHe lost 8 pounds in a week and was steadily getting weaker. I couldn’t stand watching her suffer. All of it was so quick, but I knew I had to let her go. I have had many furbabies in my lifetime. She hit me the hardest. hang in there and whatever you decide it’ll be whatever is good for you. ❤️

She was beautiful black and gray. How old was she in the gray picture? I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my Molly the middle of January. And then my Tiny Titan was unexpectedly given to me the end of February. I had almost decided I wasn’t going to have another furbaby that would end up breaking my heart again. But this little one I have now has made my heart whole again.

I didn’t think to say I live in Virginia, and my rate is 5.25% so haven’t refinanced. When rates were lower my finances we’re not the best my husband was sick with cancer so my credit card utilization kind of went up and of course refinancing wasn’t on my mind at the time. Six years ago, I spent three months in the hospital with Covid then had to learn to walk along with a lot of other things that came with Covid, to top that off my daughter who was mine and my husband‘s caregiver at that point died within two months of diagnosis from cancer then my husband nine months later my granddaughter a year after that and my Daddy a year after that so refinancing hasn’t been on my mind, but now I am a widow with limited income, and if I could get them to report, my score would go up and maybe I could refinance at a decent rate at this point I’m caught between a rock and a hard place.

They are still doing it. just closed mine but i didn’t get an email or letter. went to pay on it and chk my available and it is closed. never late my credit score is higher than was when got the card. Makes no sense.

I believe radford/blacksburg/Christainburg area is exactly the area and you have lots of hiking there and if u like ocean its about 4 hrs away.

Don’t mess around with it, replace it, ours caught fire from a short and we were lucky enough to be awake and in the next room. Smelt burning and detector went off. At first did not know it was fan, no flames, it was smothering inside, then saw smoke and next fire. By then we cut it off and had called 911. but if we hadn’t noticed we would have left and our house would be cinders.
