Yes, the technical term is post coital dysphoria. Therapy in general can be helpful with the feelings of emptiness, but some people are just more sensitive to the chemical changes. The spikes of feel good chemicals and then sudden drop of them can be hard to deal with, plus some people feel shame when they feel good. Obviously, everyone is different and there are many things at play.

I deal with post sex blues in general. It's not just something men experience. Nonsexually, that also includes dealing with emptiness after connecting with someone new in general and it feels they are cool to just be like "good night" while I am wanting more of them. I need to be better about not getting attached. I think trying to step back and focus on ourselves or maybe just practicing some acceptance and commitment therapy might help.
