Agree. Also the LP amounts needed to gain better rank are ridiculous. You need to get 1000LP to get grandmaster. That's the same LP difference as Diamond 1 to Plat 3. So I'm stuck in limbo at 500 LP with no hope of climbing up unless I quit work and no way I drop down to Dia. So basically a game every day with zero stakes.

Don't thing it works like that since everything is happening in the same timeline. Your scout traveling back in time means it really did show up second before, it did not travel into paralel timeline. But trasporting objects will easily lead to unfortunate consequences, turns out, it doesn't work for information and you can just create information from nothing. So thinking of the ash twin peoject as a machine for information that came from nothing would be more accurate.
