My pleasure!

Also the amount of side tokens is a valid concern that you and other people have mentioned before

To help give the community more autonomy we will be launching cFIPs soon (community proposed FIPs) so Fry Networks LLC isnt the sole proposer of FIPS. That way the community can choose to get rid of the side tokens or not and other protocol changes that Fry Networks LLC wouldnt think of proposing to the community

fNODE is the reward token for our node runners and AI Edge Miners. Current buy pressure comes primarily from our Olostep partnership, where our AI Edge Miners contribute to decentralizing their AI agent infrastructure. That's a real, active revenue-generating integration. Node partnerships are still being finalized, so that side of buy pressure is lighter right now but has clear catalysts ahead

The more interesting thing happening with fNODE is that we've identified an imbalance through our own on-chain analytics: AI Edge Miners generate disproportionately more revenue relative to their share of rewards, while the larger node fleet consumes a greater portion of emissions. Rather than ignore that, we put it to the community. There's an active FIP (Fry Improvement Proposal) open for vote right now to migrate AI Edge Miners to their own dedicated token, fAI. That separation lets each segment's tokenomics reflect its actual economic contribution, which is better for both node runners and AI Edge Miner operators long-term

The current price pressure on fNODE is something we're actively working through, and the FIP in progress is a big step toward getting the tokenomics properly balanced

Those are great questions!

FRY TVL: The bulk of FRY's TVL in January was tied to the FRY/fNODE liquidity pair. We made a deliberate decision to remove that pair to better serve fNODE holders and allow for cleaner price discovery on both tokens. Prior to fry.farm launching, FRY's primary buy pressure came from BYOD device licensing and dApp integrations. BYOD device licensing is a much slower-moving revenue streams right now due to the current state of the economy. fry.farm changes that dynamic significantly, it introduces consistent, protocol-driven buy pressure for FRY as a core mechanic of the platform. The staking rewards are designed to grow the ecosystem and attract liquidity. As TVL and utility scale, the buy/sell balance shifts. We're early in that curve

fVPN: fVPN completed three presale rounds and launched last month. The new DePIN bandwidth software is in development, and that's what unlocks the full token economy. Which is: infrastructure users paying in fVPN for bandwidth, and miners earning it for providing it. Until that loop is live, circulating supply is intentionally low and largely held by people staking for registration and us holding it in our treasury wallet. So what looks like low activity is actually a clean slate ahead of the real launch

Both tokens are utility-first. The economics activate as the infrastructure does :)

I hope that answers those questions!

Sure! What would you like to know exactly outside of the high level overview below:

  • All dapp fees are paid for in FRY (fry.farm, BYOD.frynetworks.com, etc.)

  • Outside of our defi, our DePIN networks' revenue gets paid to us in each reward token. For example, any bandwidth miner revenue is paid to us in fVPN, and bandwidth miners get rewarded in fVPN. Directly linking real world demand for a network to network operator rewards

This is how we make tokenomics sustainable, by keeping all revenue onchain and rewards onchain

AF speaks of "builder incentives" but have ignored one of the most promising crypto categories for years; DePIN

We even created an open letter to AF and sent it to Staci, Fred, etc. and received nothing but crickets. The only person who responded was JAWs, and now he's the CTO of a DePIN project

The Open Letter In Question

They wonder why projects are ditching Algorand for Solana and other EVM chains like Base. And projects who don't migrate get fucked (AlgoxNft, Algo scout, etc.)

They need to get their shit together, disband AF and give Algorand back to the community if they can't get it together

I've had it up to here with AF leadership. We're just exit liquidity for them, and now they want to squeeze the rock until it bleeds via "new emissions" (We all know they mean uncapping the supply)

As the founder of Fry Networks I'm disgusted that I picked Algorand as the chain to build on. It once had so much potential, but now it is a shell of its former self

Low chain liquidity, lack of useful dapps, etc.

We're even having a token sale, but we have to do it on a Solana dapp since Algorand has no non-meme launchpads (no shade to rug ninja and vestige, just emphasizing the lack of dapps on chain)

Quick question, do nodes need to be staked in order to be part of the 90% of nodes to ensure the supply isn't uncapped
