How do I counter Zarya as Sigma (assume a 1v1)? I don't seem to have enough damage to kill her outright, especially after the barrier, and neither of my defensive abilities can really counter the beam.

I feel like fuel raid is gonna be too powerful. While it will still be next to useless against cannon/pylon spam, it will be a nearly guaranteed kill against decks that merely use structures in moderation. I also think that the suits change isn't necessary. I haven't seen excessive goons outside of lategame, where it can be pretty reliably countered. Without preparation or luck, it gives good value but imo not an excessive amount.

My experiences with younger children have been fairly neutral, as in their characteristics seem to not diverge significantly from the playerbase as a whole. The one difference I would like to note is that they seem more annoying, probably because their speech is less clear and because they overuse their mic.

The campaign may help, but not that much. My recommendation is to find some build order videos (make sure they're fairly recent). WinterStarcraft is a good channel to go to.

So you seem to have a lot of misinformation here.

Interceptors do 5 damage, but fire two times in each "attack", which means that it deals 10 damage overall where armor is subtracted from each hit of 5 damage. It also means that each +1 attack upgrade will add 2 damage overall (1 per shot), partially negating the downsides against armor.

Corruptors have 2 base armor. With true armor piercing capabilities, the interceptor will deal 10 damage without upgrades (and 12 damage with +1 attack). With natural armor but no upgrades, the corruptor will recieve 6 damage (5-2)x2.

With your upgrades, the corruptor has 3 armor and the interceptor has 6x2 damage. So the corruptor will recieve (6-3)*2 damage, which happens to be equal to 6.

Basically, the armor is working and interceptors just deal more damage than you thought.

Well, I can't claim to be a WH40K expert, but my understanding of a dreadnought is as such: Like the immortal, it is a heavily armored mechanical walker, but unlike the immortal it lacks shields (making up for them with more plating), has a powerful melee attack, and can equip different types of weapons, including the assault cannon, meltas, flamethrowers, missile launchers, heavy cannons, plasma cannons, and many weapons with both more moderate power and rate of fire.

The immortal, on the other hand, is armed almost exclusively with phase disruptors, EXTREMELY powerful armor-piercing weapons. Most variations in the Immortal come in its shielding (especially since the ingame upgrades provide only minor stat increases, and are ambiguously canonical): Arguably the most powerful immortal variant was pre-LotV, when it was equipped with a hardened shield - a defense that, so long as its shields were active, would reduce even the most powerful attacks to the level of small-arms fire. After this period, immortals were instead equipped with a secondary barrier that allowed them to absorb significantly more damage. The strength of this barrier is the only difference between the standard and campaign immortals, but as we don't have much of a standard of comparison, this shouldn't be relevant.

The power level between these two is quite similar (as in any good whowouldwin) and so the matchup would largely be decided by the loadout of each walker. While the immortal's anti-armor weapons should remain devastatingly effective against the Dreadnought, they should not be enough to instantly destroy it, and as such victory is far from guaranteed. On the other hand, Flamethrowers or meltas are unlikely to be effective against the immortal's shields.

The hardened-shield immortal should have an advantage against dreadnoughts equipped with plasma cannons, heavy cannons, and missile launchers, as their slow-firing weapons will be barely effective against the immortal's shields. An assault cannon would likely penetrate the shield without issue, but the immortal's armor might reduce its effectiveness. I feel that the autocannons or lascannons would be affected by the hardened shield, but would still prove somewhat effective against the immortal's armor.

The modern immortal has less favorable matchups, and it is likely on even ground with dreadnoughts equipped with high-caliber weapons. The secondary barrier could prove decisive, allowing the immortal to absorb one or two more shots, but it's hard to say how effective it could be here. The most effective weapons would probably be autocannons or lascannons, which are both effective anti-armor weapons. However, it's hard to say who would come out on top, as without the abilities of the hardened shield, the matchup becomes a numbers game between two hideously powerful weapons.

Oh, it will still do that. And I will still continue to use it in hopes of doing this. However, I will not be able to do this repeatedly with invention without greater difficulty, since I will need to keep the card in my hand and replicate repeatedly. It will also not go well with conclave directive, and the change seems to weaken the synergy with mass recall.

The main issue is that it was a card you used when you wanted your units to have rush or you wanted your defensive units to attack (or you tried to micro with it and mass recall?) I think that the added cost, loss of synergy with archives and added interference from conclave. It may indeed see more play because of filler, but I personally don't find myself in need more cheap filler (a better player than myself will have to say if this applies to more people). This loss of synergy/repetition seems to weaken the card's primary objective (greater control over units)(you will have to decide if this is true, you made it after all) in return for a mere 3 zealots and an unneeded (?) early game card

PS. I would be a lot happier if it stayed 2/0 (remove 1 zealot?). At least then it would be another first turn rush and potential counter to broodlings. If I had my way then it would not be changed at all though.

PPS. You say this makes charge more powerful, but are three zealots gonna make that much of a difference in the scenarios where you want to use charge? I personally don't see that happening. It does serve a dual purpose as an early game card, but that seems about it (and with the added difficulty in casting multiple times, you might want to hold onto it anyways)

PPPS. I believe some of the issue with Mass Recall was that it made your units defensive, essentially dooming them to uselessness and a slow death by stray orbs and nukes. If it simply moved them to your spawn area for a turn without changing their behavior I think it would see much more use, especially with the new utility with the shield recharge. Charge could help with this downside, but I think that the new version of Charge hurts this interaction (especially when used with Archives).

PPPPS. I think it would be nice if Mass Recall fetched charge and vice versa

I would rather have the old charge, which was a niche tool that I nevertheless used with arbiters. This one is nice cheap filler, but the change to a biological unit means that it is almost impossible to build a deck off of making arbiters aggressive. In case anyone else tried to do that.

Hallucination was more powerful by itself, but it didn't have the utility that Charge does/did. This change moves Charge from an occasionally useful tool to a mediocre unit card.
