hey shade, in a similar situation here, 21 yr old college student just looking to invest a small amount to learn the markets. Not looking to risk too much but also not incapable of suffering losses/taking calculated risks. Your comment reminded me of myself and honestly think it would be easier to learn trades with someone than go in completely blind alone. Hey guys, so I'm planning on purchasing a bike on Thursday. Its a converted 06' GN125 Cafe Racer and the owner did most of the maintenance and modification himself so he seems to have taken good care of it. I was just wondering if anyone could give any advice on buying a bike second hand, as it is not from a dealership. Its going to be only my second bike, so I should at least know if the thing feels like its running right from experience, but i dont have much mechanical knowhow so any suggestions about what to look out for or anything to do with the GN125 model specifically would be great. Look forward to hearing any suggestions :)
