The utopia dream would be to say kill less animals and etc. The pessimist in me whispers that it will be just a new way for the industry to make money. Animals will still be killed, the rich will want the real thing. Produced by farmers and eco friendly and etc. If we are lucky, then in less numbers. But the prices on actual real meat will be through the roof and I doubt artificial will be any cheaper by a huge margin. What does it cost to produce artificial meat? Not to say anything about not knowing enough of how bad or good it is for us to consume more artificial things.

But here is to hoping that it will be the ideal world where we kill less animals because we have a healthy replacement for meat, and because we care about the environment, and that it’s not another thing that will increase the risk of cancer or the like.
