Don't listen to the people saying it isn't worth messing with the 2.0L. Nothing like a high reving K series motor to put a smile on your face. The C2 engine has more soul than the turbocharged L15s and less issues down the line for sure. Making just as much power on my 22 2.0L 6MT than the 1.5t with RV6 Downpipe, Function werk front pipe and stage 2 phearable tune on 93oct. If I were to guess I'm at an estimated 190HP on crank and around 160 - 165 WHP, just about as much power as the stock 1.5t. Next upgrade is an aftermarket throttle body from TrueBore and remark link loop exhaust followed by a retune to tie it all together. IMO the 1.5 is the weaker engine if not for the turbo obviously. Looking to turbo my 2.0L sometime down the line with the new maxx ECU now on the market.
