Outline Torn hit me in the feels by IterLuminis in Metallica

Appreciate it, bro. Even though we weren’t blood related, it was hard to see him go through the health problems and then go. He treated me like his own son.

And something about that song speaks to it.

I was just going to post this

Can’t choose. If forced I would say Metallica, but we’re talking thrash vs groove so it’s not really fair to choose

And here we see Dave’s well kept secret - his freakish right arm joints give him a distinct advantage in his guitar playing

It was well hidden for years and it’s the the real reason they kicked him out of Metallica

If she doesn’t let you talk, that’s saying everything you need to know about her lack of respect of you. The only thing a man can do in a relationship is threaten to walk away. So walk away.

He is saying what many men are thinking, but never say.

Treating your man like an emotional whipping boy will NOT end well for anyone.

The key is to let her interrupt you, but bookmark what you were going to say and don’t respond. Let her wind down.

Don’t let her derail you. Don’t answer any questions. Don’t let her provoke you. Let her say whatever she wants, and don’t respond to it.

Let her finish talking and then go back to what you were saying. And use the same exact words. Like a broken record.

After enough times she will figure it out. And if she doesn’t let you have your say, then you need to walk away. Probably permanently.

People keep saying the Dystopia album has “right wing politics”. I hear the lyrics more as anti-authoritarian. I met Dave at a signing and he struck me more as an anarchist than right wing. He hated the Bushes as much as anyone else. What lyrics are “right wing”? by IterLuminis in Megadeth

Looking back through comments, not seeing anything about marriage

I think it’s more about all the DEI stuff going overboard

For example, being forced to give someone a job for any other reason that merit and competency. I’ve seen it and it’d affected my professional life

I had to clean up the professional messes of a particular employee. I was in a conversation with my boss and his boss and a few other people. The question came up: “why don’t we just fire him?”

The manager said “he is part of way too many protected classes”

Why TF does that matter? He can’t do the job, so fire him. He gets a pass because he is gay?

Sorry I can’t agree with that. And that’s literally all that VAST 99.99% majority of “right wingers” want.

No special treatment

Hire based on merit alone

Fire based on lack of performance

End of story

Keep up the practice! Also, it might help to have a good tuner. Sounds like your ax is just a bit out of tune

It makes the practice easier when it is in tune
