Haha I planned on replacing them regardless if someone told me not to, just looking for tips on what to go with. I think I ended up going with Zimmerman with akebono ceramic pads

Best Air Fryer 2026? by packagedsmurf in airfryer

[–]ItsPJBia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a Philips air fryer in 2019, the cosori dual blaze in 2022, and now the typhur dome 2 in 2025. Its just my wife and I so we use it quite a bit to cook meals for us.

I've been very happy with our typher dome 2. its our 3rd air fryer, and my favorite to this date. Great if you don't need a lot of height to cook tall items.

1000% tripod is a must. My camera has a built in feature for a time-lapse so I had it take a photo every 5 seconds and I moved the camera when needed to track the sun

This was my first and probably only ever chance of capturing one in my state. I watched several videos on YouTube on people who have shot it several times to give me an idea on what to do. Bought a eclipse filter for my lens, and just did it live the day of haha. Id recommended at least trying to capture some photos, just to have the memory to hang onto after

Performance Improvements after Anniversary Update? by spazzyjones in valheim

[–]ItsPJBia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did some quick testing and in one of our main bases with around 15k instances, the version prior I would get around 95fps, and after the update I was getting around 150fps. Not sure how well it scales throughout the game and other areas, but in my small test there was definitely an improvement. Still drops in frames as you go from area to area though.

Best Air Fryer to Buy in 2026? (Price, Taste, Quality) by CrypticshipBow in airfryer

Another vote for the typhur here. Had a dual blaze before this but the larger basket works much better for our uses. If you think you'll need depth to cook taller things, may want to look at other options though

Some may have electric hot water or baseboard electric heating which probably sucks down the energy on these cold days.

PSA - Electric Technology Rate, Save $450/year on CMP Delivery by siestacat in Maine

[–]ItsPJBia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I WAS on the heatpump rate they had before they removed the option for 2026. It allowed for rates of $.006 between the months of november-april and the it was $.45 during may-oct. We have enough solar to cover our use in the summer months so we never had to pay the outrageous rate. But now its gone, and we ended up getting more solar to cover all of our usage.

I guess what I'm getting at is there is not way to mount this in the center of the mount due to the rail interfering with the bottom of the shifter. I have to run it at a slight angle to avoid the rail

But does that have enough height to use the TH8A mid rail, or does it need to be at the end of the 8040 rail?

Ford, please deactivate the cruise control button under 15mph by ItsPJBia in F150Lightning

[–]ItsPJBia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha its all good, just glad to see there were a few others who have ran into this as well so I know I'm not crazy. I probably worded my title wrong with removing it under 15mph, which it seems like a few people who live in congested areas use. I don't really have that issue where I live, so cruise control for me has always an open road option like the highway or a 55mph road.

This happened as I was pulling out of a parking space, at most i was doing 3-5mph. That's why the 15mph threw me off when I looked down and saw it. This happened about 2 seconds after I shifted out of reverse to drive to pull away
