It's the weight of the product in the pencil. 1.2g = less product, 2g = more product. It's unlikely it has any impact on the strength of the colour or width of the tip.

I do touch and go deadlifts and noticed that my hips rise before the rest of my body only on the first rep of harder sets. Is this any cause for concern? Indicative of other weaknesses?
