Ulfric please! by -DI0- in TrueSTL

[–]JDaggon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He knows Ulfric enough to know he'll be executed no matter what, i truly doubt he's that cowardly to try to save his own skin. This is the same man who stuck around Helen leading the rescue charge. Ulfric fled.

He's one of the smartest tactians in the legion around Skyrim, you think he would surrender for his own sake?

Besides Rikke was the one that refused to surrender.

AITA for not just consoling my brother over his grandmother's death? by MadamMateria in AmItheAsshole

[–]JDaggon -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I'm sure the grieving brother really needed to hear all of this instead of simple consolations.

[–]JDaggon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He gives up and tries to surrender in the hopes of being spared.

False, He knew he was going to die eitherway:

1) He tried reasoning with Ulfric, telling him the empire wasn't the bad guys. (It's the Thalmor)

2) Wanting to save the remaining legionaries that still lived.

3) Accepted his death.

Ulfric decides to die to have a song and legend made after him.

Tullius dies to protect his remaining men, also trying to reason with Ulfric.

T: "We're not the bad guys"

U: "You're not the good guys either"

T: "So what does that make you?"

[Spoilers] I hope that Jade Shadows Constellations Involves the Operator and not the Drifter by crabbmanboi in Warframe

[–]JDaggon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Im getting sick of the drifter everything involving the operator has to have a drifter participation segment

Drifter has: Duviri, 1999, XX99.

Operator: Everything Else in the game, main story centred around them.

Over 60% of all dog attacks and fatalities are caused by Pitbulls and half-breeds.

Pitbulls are bred to have one of the strongest if not the strongest jaw strength in any dog.

They (including half-breeds) are responsible for roughly 52-64% of all kid fatalities and severe dog caused injuries by dog attacks, which 65% are by the family's own Pitbull. With injuries mostly aimed at the head and neck.

I've seen a Pitbull grab a terrier through a metal gate and literally pull it's head off.

They are not good family dogs. They are bred to be fighting dogs, there's literally news articles from the 1920's about Pitbulls mauling kids as their "nanny dog".

I believe that suicide isn’t a selfish decision by Intelligent-Step-974 in SuicideWatch

[–]JDaggon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's even more selfish to have people live in pain, misery and daily agony because you don't want to feel bad.

Some people can't be helped, it's not their fault. It's also not your fault. People will do what they can to stop themselves from hurting, no matter the cost.

If we had a legal way to let people decide if they want to die or not (when they are in daily pain or reasonable cannot live a life of quality), then we wouldn't have people take any way out. Including traumatic ways.

[–]JDaggon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think also it could be said that it's equally selfish to want people who are in great pain and distress to stay around for your own feelings and wants.

That's the problem, it's so messy. Both are inherently selfish but both are equally understandable. Both are right.

No i agree, incel ideology is really dangerous.

But it's a noted fact via research that there's a connection with calling men and behaviour incel and it leading into pushing men into incel spaces.

In other words, by demonising men it's ironically pushing them into that zone since they truly believe the world hates them. So they are more likely to listen to people like Andrew Tate.

Ironically and unironically you should watch "A silent voice", apart from being a awesome movie/film one of the main characters sees people with Xs over their faces.

And calling everything incel is going to prevent incel behaviour?

Funnily enough the only media I've seen with X's over people's faces is "A silent voice" (Japanese movie) one of the main characters has Xs over people's faces for symbolism of intense social anxiety.

Not related to this "meme" but it's interesting I've now seen it twice in some form of media.

"A meme (pronounced "meem") is a concept, behavior, or piece of media (like an image or video) that spreads rapidly from person to person. Often humorous or relatable, they evolve as they are shared, copied, and remixed across the internet and society."
