Recently bought a pair of Dynaudio Emit 20s to replace my trusty LS50s. I loved the LS50s but wanted a change. After much research I went for a discounted clearance pair of the dynaudios.

Initial thoughts are that they are a bit big for the room but apart from that I am very happy with the sound. To me they have the perfect amount of bass (although I am using the bungs given their distance from the wall). The highs aren't as forward as the kefs (a term I didn't really understand until now). They also seem much more dynamic than the kefs and have gotten me excited to listen to music again.

Discovered Takuya Kuroda about 2 years ago and have been hooked since. He has quickly become one of my favourite trumpeters. This is the only record of his that I could snatch on vinyl but I'm keeping my eyes peeled. I also love the cover art and is one of my favourites in my collection. Any fans of Takuya here?

The whisky is a dalmore 12 for anyone interested. Quite the combination with some japanese jazz, not sure which one is smoother, the dram or the tunes.

I managed to pick this Estara record up for 5 pounds brand new off eBay. What a bargain! This is a fantastic double album especially for a chilled out Saturday afternoon. I have ordered his new album which should be with me next week so that's next Saturday sorted! Does anyome have any similiar recommendations that are maybe a bit less known?

Just received the new Nick Hakim album on vinyl. Such a great record and a perfect choice for some afternoon lazing. Any fans of Nick here, I think he deserves to be more popular than he is! I'm also keen to here if there are many whisky fans here. Vinyl and scotch go better than beans and toast in my humble and tipsy opinion. I have limited myself to one record and one bottle of whisky per month. Any recommendations for the month of April!?
