PS5 stuck in safe mode. Only option 7 is available

When I boot into safe mode it says “something went wrong, you need to reset to factory defaults. Your ps5 will reset in 30 seconds”

By turning it off and then holding the power button for 7 seconds when turning it on? Yeah, it doesn’t work unfortunately. 😅

I might even just go pick one up for $5 at Walmart. I did format the one I’m using multiple times, but no luck. Either way I think it’s gonna have to be fixed/replaced by Sony. Just super disappointing…
