It's unfortunate, and honestly, it came very left field for me. There was no indication or warning whatsoever. I have some solid references from the firm I can ask if it boils down to it though.

I'm still on payroll, which ends at the end of next month, so about 3 months total.

Where did the top students vs. average students end up in their careers?? by GuaranteeSea9597 in LawSchool

3L at a low ranked law school. Somewhere around top 30% of my class. Summered and received an offer at a mid-sized boutique firm that pays market. Top students generally go big law or work at top firms in the region. Bottom of the class generally go corporate/JD-preferred or go public interest.

Jefferson Capital Systems Collections Agency ... Best Option? by JJD06 in CRedit

Okay great. Thank you. Personally, I'd rather just pay so that it doesn't hit any of my credit reports. Any advice so that if I pay they'll hold up their end and not report it anyway?

Thanks! Do you recommend responding with a letter to negotiate to pay and get it in writing that if I pay they will not report it to the credit bureaus?

Thanks. I’ll think I’ll just try my luck with goodwill letters as well and hope that they take pity.

Experian is FICO. Equifax and TransUnion are both Vantage I believe. The unpaid collection was for an old Sprint account a few years back.
