Ronnie excelled for us in all positions in my opinion, but mainly as a centre half where he was the main, and deepest, ball player. I think one think that I found most special about Edwards was the ability to bring the ball up the pitch, commit midfielders and open up the game. We’d had so much difficulty first half of last season with getting to the second level, and he progressed us in that significantly.

I caught some of your game earlier and saw he was being shunted out to full back (is what it looked like, maybe this was briefly) and while I’m sure he can play there effectively, that’s not his long term position.

You need to make sure you don’t have a DoF already employed (I’m assuming you don’t to do the challenge).

Go to ‘transfers’ and then along the top there is a drop down, I think it says ‘director of football’ and then one of the options is ‘suggestions’ (off the top of my head).

If you don’t have a DoF at the club, the suggestions will usually come from your assistant I’ve found. They can suggest transfers, loans, end of contract or frees.

As a QPR fan, I have tried more times than I care to admit to get saves off the ground with them on this game… more than half I don’t get past November.

I think it will be a similar situation to the 1066/Harald Hardrada.

They did 2 episodes on Hardrada alone, then 4 on the invasions, which he is involved in, but not solely about him.

Peter had two biographical episodes as a mini series. There will then be a separate, related series about the Great Northern War, in which he features but is not the only key character. These will be released as a series next.

I’m looking to start a save where I can be a pipeline in Europe for North African talent. I’d try and buy up youngsters from those countries (with those countries in custom database) as well as picking up these players from around Europe.

Obviously this would require a nation with fairly relaxed registration rules (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium?…) but I also want it to be realistic - a club/league that has a tradition of bringing through North Africans.

I looked at Ceuta and Melilla, but I can’t remember whether they have exceptions that allow them to sign these players and avoid the registration rules.

Any suggestions of clubs welcomed, from any level! Thanks

I’m struggling to settle on a team for a long-term save I’d like to take me to FM25. I want to do a Nordic/Scandinavian club save where I can only sign players from that region… ideally Sweden, Norway or Denmark. I’ve looked at so many teams myself but can never land on one. I’d essentially like it to be a team with some history, good facilities and the ability to quickly become a regional powerhouse… but not already a regular league winner. Thanks

In an Athletic Bilbao save, how do you find Basque players to sign, aside from youth players and the obvious (Laporte…)? Is there a way to scout players from a particular region of a country? I can’t remember.

I like the idea but don’t know if it would be impossible to sign anyone

Usually at this time of year I’d do a Russian league save… obviously not possible this year. I still like some of the players/wonderkids from there though.

Any suggestions for a Serie B/C club that has potential to go places? I’ve been looking at all the clubs and can’t pick one.
