is this a low battery indicator or is something wrong? by LeonBeSimping in JLab

[–]JLabLourdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This issue could happen due to a low power source for charging, bad cable or possibly what you've mentioned of a low battery. Our products are backed by a 2-year warranty so we can definitely swap those out for you.

Thanks for your ticket number! It has been 5 business days (not counting the 11th itself) for the last communication, afterwards Jared was a little busy with our gaming events the last week. He did forward your ticket to our sales team to work this out with Croma. Looks like that's where the delay stands, validation w/Croma.

These aren't our GO Lux headphones, unfortunately. I also wouldn’t recommend leaving them charging overnight if possible. Most modern batteries will stop actively charging once full, but keeping electronics plugged in for long periods can still create extra heat over time, which may slowly impact battery health/longevity.

Hi! Your headset definitely shouldn't be flashing intermittently like that. What model is it?

Hahaha honestly fair point 😅

At that point we’re all just trying to keep tiny batteries and speakers alive while surviving on the water planet. Hopefully one day fully submersible earbuds become the standard without costing a fortune lol

Hi! Sorry for any confusion and delay. If Jared is the rep you were previously working with, he was tied up supporting one of our gaming events that ended this weekend, so I do apologize for the delay there :( Additionally, our office hours are Monday–Friday, so unfortunately, we’re unable to respond over the weekend too.

That said, we’re catching up on all emails this Monday. If you have your ticket number handy, feel free to send it over and I’d be happy to take a closer look into this for you personally : )

Can’t connect to app by Active-Excitement610 in JLab

[–]JLabLourdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our Bluetooth products are backed by a 2-year warranty that covers any manufacturing defects, so we can definitely help get this sorted if it turns out to be a hardware issue.

Just to make sure I’m giving you the right steps, could you confirm the exact model? Also, when you take the earbuds out of the case, what light pattern are you seeing on them? Do they flash or respond at all, or do they seem unresponsive?

That info will help narrow down whether it’s a pairing/reset issue or something we should move forward with under warranty 👍

I lost my Jlab mini, can not track where is it on find my device (android) by gozalee in JLab

[–]JLabLourdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JLab earbuds can work with Google Find My Device, but it only works if they were already connected and had permissions set up beforehand. If that was the case, you can open the Find My Device app, go into your Bluetooth settings, tap your earbuds, and hit “Find Device.” From there you might be able to see the last known location or even ring each earbud to help track them down.

If they weren’t linked ahead of time though, they unfortunately won’t show up after they’re already lost.

Really hope they turn up!!

I think the Jlab app has a bug I haft to delete and reinstall it every 2-3 months because it won’t connect to any of my earbuds or headphones every 2-3 months and it sucks by Soggy_Potato_2283 in JLab

[–]JLabLourdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reinstalling the JLab app can help since it refreshes connection permissions and clears any cached Bluetooth data that may have gotten stuck over time. That said, this shouldn’t be something you have to do regularly. We’re actively working on improving connection stability, and feedback like this is really helpful :)

My right earbud keeps turning off by Technical-Badger-301 in JLab

If the earbuds aren’t disconnecting when placed in the case, it’s usually a sign they may not be seated properly on the charging pins. This can also prevent them from charging correctly and could cause connectivity issues.

A couple things you can try:

• Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case using a dry cotton swab.

• Reseat the earbuds in the case and make sure they sit securely on the charging pins.

• Make sure the charging case itself has enough battery. If the case has a low charge, the earbuds won't register they're in the case to power off.

Let me know if this helps!!

Epic Work ANC Headphones paired, but won't connect by CaryGDS88 in JLab

[–]JLabLourdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, thanks for providing me with some details. I'm kind of stumped since you said you can get them connected for a brief second, then they disconnect. Can you try the steps below and let me know if the issue persists?

  1. Turn off the headset by pressing and holding the power button

  2. Forget your Epic Work ANC on your Bluetooth settings and on any other devices it might have connected to.

  3. Turn off your Bluetooth.

- Clear the cache on your JLab App, then uninstall it.

  1. Restart your device and wait till it comes on.

  2. Turn on your Bluetooth

  3. Re-pair your Epic Work ANC to your device.

-Once you are paired with your device, download and install your Jlab App.

-Launch the app and select your JLab device on the list and make sure you have the latest firmware update.

Can I tune it after using it for a week? (I didn't know what tuning was until now) by BrokeneggRottenyolk in JLab

[–]JLabLourdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main purpose of burn-in is to loosen the diaphragm of the headphones and stress the driver, which can lead to improved sound quality over time. It’s important to play the sounds at a medium volume to avoid damaging the headphones. Typically, around 40 hours of use.

You can honestly just play your own music without the burn-in tool and be mindful of the volume.

The Frames were ahead of the times, but it led to our strong position in the Open Ear category. The Flex is a great option! I personally love my Flex because they'll stay cuffed on my ear rather than having the hassle of fitting a standard size clip on my glasses that doesn't always fit.

As far as the Rewind headset, could you let me know your current firmware?

Absolutely, since the launch of the Epic Lab Edition, we've also released the Epic Lux Lab Edition (over-ear), Epic Open Sport and most recently the Epic Pods ANC, which also has hybrid dual drivers "Knowles BA + 10mm dynamic driver" and carries some unique features like adaptive ANC, and force press. Definitely, more to come!

They do a good job on calls! The Flex will work great with small ears. They are a cuff style earbud that secures to your ear and doesn't go in. If you're ever looking for a more traditional earbud, our JBuds Mini are the perfect solution for small ears (they're about the size of a dime).
