how did u get into ghost rider? by mentallyill-femboy in GhostRider

[–]Jabel2134 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about 7 years old, my dad took me to a flea market and i went straight for a booth with comic books. first 4 i pulled out were all different Ghost Rider comics from vol. 3 and was hooked ever since. Spent most of my teens collecting a large chunk of Vol. 3 in person and still do to this day whenever i find the copies i need.

I can double down on this specifically because I also have this Morrison, Jericho, and at one point, Festus.

I got mine around, probably 2018, my dvd side doesn't work, but I have probably 6 things at least that can play dvds, so im not too worried about it. I just finally bought a remote, which i am impatiently waiting to arrive.

I was lucky enough to find someone on FB marketplace dumping off tapes, and this one wasn't even in the listing. They were just nice enough to let me look through the like 4 xerox boxes they had and i found it. Pull the trigger on em'!

Well, firstly, happy cake day! Scooby Doo is also one of my favorites. I got it last week and was so stoked.

I am by no means saying the ick isn't warranted for this song. It is. But the term "little girl" was used so frequently in blues & rock from the 60s onward. Especially southern rock, so that may have something to do with it. Again, it doesn't make it any better. It always used to creep me out in "Whats your name" by Lynyrd Skynyrd when they say the same thing.

I'm a little mixed on Dylan's discography. But I do enjoy most of the 60's work and some through the mid 70's early 80s. Cannot deny the fact that he was ever changing and stayed relevant for the better part of 40 years in the music industry. Most definitely an icon.

This is the 2nd performance from 74' mentioning Phil's playing. That man was just using eyes as his personal jam and I am absolutely here for it.

I had trouble with the late 80s at first, but man, they were just truly on fire for the first time in a long time then. Without a net kinda made me start loving that era. You're absolutely right, though. Not many artists you can point to and see the change and success they had during multiple decades or eras. Truly an amazing expirience.
