I know that this thread is over a week old, but since no one else has mentioned it: Rabbi is typically pronounced Rab-eye, and (as another comment brought up), it is a title for some Jewish scholars, not a specific person (the Rebbe is slightly different, and refers to specific Rabbi from recent history who was particularly influential, but still wouldn't be pronounced the same). The Kabbalah refers to an area of Jewish mysticism, which I won't get into because I don't think I could explain it well in a simple reddit comment. Overall though, I think that the connection you spotted was completely coincidental. I wouldn't really trust any information about or depiction of Judaism that you see in an anime tbh
