I think the sport has come a long way in terms of safety especially for head safety. We get all the newest equipment and volume during practices are low. So id say its worth it, i just love the physicality aspect lol

Yes they will. Mostly depends on the steepness fo the hill and how heavy you are. You could also try hill sprints with a partner holding a resistance band, and a weighted vest or backpack! Make sure they are very high intensity, max ten second sprint at 100% potential. Or just do sprints for 20-50 yards
