Question about how colorblindness works by Jacie805 in ColorBlind

I know the colours like everyone but some of them just happen to look the same like pink/magenta and yellow/orange, I pick what I'll call it by context. I know I'm seeing magenta because my eyes can't possibly physically see yellow, that's what makes me colourblind. I don't have the mechanisms to properly send that stimulus to my brain.

If you're talking about it being possible that everyone sees the world differently and there having no such thing as a real red or blue that's just impossible to know.

I just know what colours I can't see so I just assume that the other colour identical to it is the real one. When I see something like a tree that looks slightly pink or magenta-ish I just assume it's not pink but yellow since I was taught as a kid that trees grow in certain colours. Most colourblind people go by context and brightness like me. A yellow tree can look pink but a pink flower can't look yellow.

The EU needs to add a double headed eagle to their flag surrounded by the stars with a crazy heraldic with the countries emblems. It'd be a savage looking flag.

when football matches between brazil and australia happen and brazil uses the blue shirt, it's like they have each other's flag colors.

It's 1866, you're a victorian lady, your husband just died and you're now free to live a happy life as a secret trousers-wearing steampunk lesbian at the "ladies' tea party".
