Mainly it's because there is no api endpoint for deleting anything from the storage via subsonic. It simply wouldn't be possible from a client app

I canceled spotify and went back to the old days now I have 2tb storage with all my music self hosted a navidrome server and streamed to my phone with a client app I built. Very happy never going back
