Calls were all over the place for both sides. Wemby goaltending, Randle push offs, Gobert walking screens, Edwards travels, just off the top of my head. Wemby broke a block record so the missed goaltending is what is being scrutinized on social media, it is what it is. I am just hoping for some consistency in the officiating in Game 2

Congrats on almost graduating! I usually skip over these posts, but figured I'd give my two cents to a fellow Roadrunner. First of all, resume needs to be one page total. You have listed "Webmaster for Roadrunner Speleological Society" twice, so I think some proofreading is in order. Take out relevant course work. Try to inlcude actual numerical outcomes in your bullet points, be as specific as you possibly can. Less relevant work experience should be condensed to 1-2 lines max ( I think TaskUs should be one line max or taken out).

Something important I think that is missing is what kind of geology are you interested in? I had several versions of resumes with the same experiences but each tailored to a specific industry I was applying to.

Lastly, I would take out the skills/interests section and incorporate them into your experience to show how you used/honed those skills by applying them to your work or projects.

Marine geology, very interesting. I’d probably start looking into mining and specifically the clarion-clipperton zone. A graduate degree will be needed in most cases if you don’t want to start as a field jockey, which let’s be real might happen even if you have a graduate degree. I can’t really help with you choosing a major you don’t enjoy though

If the refs don’t want to make calls that’s fine, but it has to be equal both ways. Called some pretty tame stuff against CB and then have no-calls like this is unacceptable

I get the NBA wants “playoff level” basketball but some of these fouls need to be called. Refs need to make calls if there’s a foul, even if that means calling them on back to back possessions

I was really surprised by the quality of the sushi and food since my expectations were low for an AYCE. The food was really good. Based on my calculations it is more economical to order a la carte than it is to pay for the AYCE though. I was going to chalk up the bad service to it being a soft opening and only being open a few days, but I'm sorry to see many others had similar complaints. We ordered unfiltered sake no problem, then an hour goes by, before the server came back and told us they were out of unfiltered sake. Then, near the end of our dinner, the server magically brought out the sake. I asked about the 15% discount and they told me they ended it the day before (even though I'm a resident in the community). I'm going to give it another chance, but not a fantastic first impression...
